It'll have to be huge, I doubt the current ninian stand holds many more than 9,000 as it is.

So it's Kenny Huang who actually wants us to turn to red then? As much as I am against the colour change, it would be very hard for us to turn down potential billions getting invested in us and becoming the next Man City!

I have to say i sometimes cringe at the 'updates' but that is very well written and so painfully logical i hope even the most ardent critics of the plans begin to see sense.

This might be a daft question. But how can Malky's playing budget be turned into equity if we have to pay the clubs transfer fees?

The money that VT puts in for the playing squad will not be a debt that we owe to him, it will be converted into shares.

If he loans the club £100m it becomes a £100m debt for the club. If he turns that debt into equity or shares he gets £100m of shares and basically becomes the only shareholder of interest and the club has no debt. Instead to get his money back he would either have to create debt by mortgaging the stadium and new training facilities thereby creating a debt for the club and keeping the money himself or he would need to sell the club for as much as he can preferably for him for more than £100m.

Debt is a loan you have to pay back, usually with interest on top. If you cant pay it back you go bust. Equity is an investment at the complete risk of the investor in most cases has no interest and isnt a loan so you ar not in debt. By converting our debt to equity we go from being in huge debt to being debt free.

When I first heard the announcement about changing to red, like most, I was passionately opposed. But now I have had time to digest it and take a step back, I feel, like most again, that this is in the best interests for the club and would now welcome red. Just last night, I went to Bramall Lane to watch Sheffield United v Stevenage and let me tell you.. I do not EVER want to see that low quality scrappy long ball football ever returning to CCS. BLUEBIRDS!

Haven’t really portrayed my thoughts and feelings about the whole rebranding and changes on the message board as of yet, whilst my heart does not want to change our colour from blue my head says it would be foolish not to accept these changes as the most important thing is that our club progresses and takes that fundamental leap forward that we as fans all desire.

Let’s pray good news awaits us regarding the investment and settlement of the Langston debt.

I remember when huang was gonna take over liverpool and people were saying liverpool would have a never ending well of money!

It's incredible that a club like us who languished in the lower leagues with 3k crowds can attract any interest from people like this.
I dont know if this is naive but surely this has got to be great news not only for our football club but also for the economy in these parts.

Good write up carl but i await the negatives to come to light as there has to be a catch with all the things you mention. I know your only telling how it is from one side rite now due to it all ongoing but it will all come out in the wash as they say sooner or later
