new training facilities etc.

Then issue a form with a simple tick box Y for Yes , N for No .
Write your name and Fan Number on paper, send it back job done .

Or even have an online poll on the official site where you would have to put your fan number in to vote!

Lets face it with a potential Investment of £100 million, the cost of this would have pailed into insignificance.
And would have done away with all this nonsense and infighting during the last week or so.
At least it would have been a way to give the majority of Fans a say.

lets be honest they dont want to give you a say .... clearly shown when they said unconditional.

sadly I think you are probably right there Daya.. by the way who do you think is incapable of holding a senior permanent position at CCFC?
lets be honest they dont want to give you a say .... clearly shown when they said unconditional.

Blueboo wrote:I would have handled it in exactly the same skilled way as the Malaysians actually did.

- Deliberately leak news that everything is changing, including our beloved badge in return for £100 million

- Wait for the adverse reaction from fans and drop hints that if fans are not supportive or appreciative of what they were trying to achieve then they would leave

- Wait for fans to stew a while deliberating the club languishing in the lower leagues after admin

- Come back with a minor compromise and the promise the £100 million is still on the table

- Big collective sigh of relief from all fans after we are presented with the final proposals of a red home shirt, with a dragon on it, and then a red stadium.

- All are accepted without further question, because we think we won a battle by persuading them to keep the Bluebird (for now), which they probably knew they would conced on from day 1.

Lets face it, the Malaysians have played a very skillful game and we have found ourselves in Check Mate. I tip my hat to them.

Spot on. I've been saying the same thing on CCMB over past few days. PLUS of course now our gullible buggers have fallen for their tactics, City's 'softened' fan base are open to more dramatic change further down the line. Red stadium,Cardiff Malaysia Dragons FC in the next few years...Don't laugh...I am serious. Daya is spot on, many leaks in business are carefully planned.

General consultation period to allow all to comment on proposals.

Submit design options but also allow "fans" to submit own suggestions

Reduce designs to 2/3 and then some sort of vote/panel choose.

Badge stays the same- nickname remains - no leak - happy days!!!

Official statement in letter to fans with the option of:
1) 5 designs of kit
2) 5 badges
to vote on.

Clearly the reasons for change were important as was the spelling out the entire package. As we have seen these last 7 days (gosh it seems like an age) there had to be a degree of compromise on both parties or we could have been in need of new owners, not that, as some were preaching, that was terminal. Was it not impossible to have a red away kit that was marketable in the Far East and we still kept the blue for home games?

Just for the record, I am actually quite confident Daya would have done a better job handling this. He's talked a lot of sense lately.

Wait, did I just say that?!?

Seems harsh, the info was leaked before the Malaysia had a chance to implement the changes.

Look at this guys website, do you honestly feel a guy worth his worth wanted these changes to be implemented like this, I agree that the way the club handled the affair after the leak, but the fans had already started campaigns against the changes without knowing the facts.

Daya why oh why do you give a f**k about anything we do, always reply with sarky and bullshit replies.... Your one of the most negative fuckers who didnt help when the info leaked.

It's people like you who may have cause irrepairable damage to my club.

Re: " SO IF YOU HAD BEEN OUR CLUB ? "

they shouldnt have to "let us know" they are changing anything as fundamental as club colours and badge - they should have consulted on the principle first.

Not only was it a stupid (and ultimatley pointless) idea, the manner in which it has been handled does not bode well for the future running of the club whatever colour is chosen. Malky must be wondering what shower of amateur shite he has joined.

Cardiff City is blue, we are the Bluebirds end of.

1) I personally don't call £100million pointless.....

2) You mention that's fans shoud have been consulted, the info was leaked and spilled onto forum sites like this were our so called leaders spread the negativity like the pox, fans didn't give any hope to the ideas they had.

3) Cardiff City is blue, read the posts 'RED' is gonna happen.

if red happens good luck to you. Hope you enjoy the season. In my eyes you wont be watching ccfc and I wont be there. Before you call me fickle, the club has abandoned us not the other way around and for the record I was calling the colour change pointless, not the investment
