Its a good job that you are not my legal adviser then  You can call me what you want but at least I am trying which is more can be said for you. If the rebranding is severe enough then there is a claim. If the changes had been announced prior to to my purchase then I would not have a leg to stand on.It would be nice if you supported this action by writing to them yourself but thats your choice. :ayatollah:

I am your legal advisor and you have no claim along with all the other saddos that would rather we went to the wall than wear a different colour shirt, wish you lot would grow up

I think that you will find that in a small claims action that the decision lies with the judge on the day but thanks for your legal opinion.

Thank you for your email.

As explained in our customer charter which is available on the official website http://www.cardiffcityfc.co.uk/page/Cus ... 35,00.html to apply for a refund on your Season Ticket this will need to be put in writing to the Ticket Office Manager Mona Sabbuba to the following address:

Cardiff City Stadium
Leckwith Road

Hope this helps

Hope it doesn't come to have to get refunds, don't mind if the shirts red, but we fought hard enough to get the badge back and now its going to be not just the loss of the badge but our name aswell!

They sent me that same email back.

To me, there's no sense in keeping the badge and nickname if our home shirt is gonna be red.

True but if he's that keen on red, then its going to happen and i'm hoping he'll negotiate and let us keep our name and badge.

I will be writing to this address today informing them that if the club change the badge to a dragon as in addition to changing the kits to red ones then I will be seeking a refund.
I have a contract with the club whereby I paid in advance to purchase my season tickets in order to watch my team the bluebirds next season. Because the club has specifically rebranded and we are no longer the bluebirds then they have fundamentally changed my contract.I would have had more respect for the club if they had the decency to inform me of their intentions before I made the purchase thus giving me the choice to renew or not.
If the changes are made with no compromise and no refund is offered then it is my intention to raise a small claims action against the club to recover my money.
I know this may seem extreme but I hope that the club will compromise in some way. Although I am only one fan, if others who feel the same wrote to the club at the above address then we may get them to take some notice.

As a solicitor I can confirm that there is a strong argument in this above. The club will refund it in my opinion as the costs of going to court far outweigh and i mean FAR outweigh the hassle of a refund

Remind me if I ever need a solicitor to seek legal advice from someone else.

Agree on the latter.

You cant be serious that you would stop watching Cardiff City just because we are playing in red ( we have played in red before anyway) . I know that this isnt the point but there is no way I wont be watching us next year even if we were rebranded as the pink f*cking panthers :D

No, I will boycott if we play in red and do away with the bluebird.

i totally support you bluebird64, i will also be seeking a refund, they may as well change our name as well as far as i'm concerned because if we play in red and are no longer the bluebirds we will be cardiff city in name only, the the club i have supported since 1975, and i heard a whisper that our ceo is devasted by mr tan's plans just like we are.
