98% of us at the meeting, were totally against Vincent Tans plans or shall we say already done dictatorship.

Just boycott the new RED SHIRT.

My boys will never wear a red home kit. However I'd rather see a Cardiff city wearing red than have no Cardiff city at all. CCFC will always be our club-no one can take away our great history and the shit times that we have had. I'll still chant Bluebirds next season as will many more.

To be honest, my feelings are there is no Cardiff City anymore anyway. Vincent Tan has shown a complete lack of respect to us fans and I will not be supporting him. I will not be renewing my season ticket.

They think they and their advisor's know better...

You can't buy a shirt with a f*cking dragon on it unless the Welsh football kit, we are the bluebirds, if you must buy a top, go retro.

But, lets see what they do in terms of the debt and Malkys transfer pot. No one is going to stop us singing Bluebirds next season, in fact it may be deafening for the first home game.

I think this sums it up best. Almost ten years ago, we(Clydebank) lost our club and everything that goes with it, we now play non league football in a ramshackle dump and we travel to places that aren't fit for cattle never mind football. I'd have done, and still would do, anything to see my club back at the level they were at. We were shafted over £165k never mind millions.

For months we have all agreed that football has changed and fans are now customers - this is another classic example of this.

To progress, things have to change. I would like to think there will be compromise, but if the other option is no CCFC - that leaves you with a choice to make.

What happened to Clydebank was a disgrace. My local club Andover went through last summer for less than 5k and the 100 or so diehards now have no club. Other towns like Darlo and Wrexham have come painfully close to losing their clubs. We need our club end of.

Exactly mate. I'm trying to view this from both sides as having lost a club, it's a horrible thing to go through. You can change your job, car, girlfriend - but you never change your football club. Sometimes change is a neccesary evil, and some will never accept change. Sometimes you have to accept it even if you don't agree with it.

If the alternative truly is no CCFC then where does that leave us?

Good on you Annis. I wouldn't care if we were decucted 30 points, lost players, and got relegated twice in a row. I'd still be there. But after all this I don't know what to do

Ive tried not to comment on this until I hear it directly from the club Thats its done .... I Dont know what I feeling as I feel as if I have a gun to my head... if I wanted to wear red id have followed a different team. Football has always been about the blues v reds etc... how can the future of tha club be wiping out the history???? They could have spent just 5 mil in January and we prob would Av kicked on and gained promotion... I just Cant get my head around the idea.. If we are that strapped for cash y jot just sell the naming rights to the stadium etc...

I agree with your admin comment Annis but if we go into admin we would go down next season and who knows even out of business. If CCFC fail/end up in lower leagues we would lose out to jacks in areas like Neath and Port Talbot and the long term potential of the club would be affected.

The admin option will come up again and again - take a look at the Glasgow Rangers situation - it isn't doing them any good at present.

Admin in theory sounds good, theory isn't always reality.

So we have no choice. For administration read liquidation and then its park football.... the nostalgia will wear off pretty quickly as a lot those on here disappear. There'll not be 15k watching city in the lowest league in the country... We are Cardiff City, yes I'm disappointed but I'm not up for losing the club over the colour blue...

Think back to days of Tony Clemo who we all hated. We all wanted a big investor. Now we have one we dislike him and for very good reasons. This is the proverbial double edge sword. We sell our soul and keep our club. We reject VT and he fooks off and we have no club. Red CCFC is the lesser of the 2 evils for me.

Chill out people, without vt's cash we'd be phucked ages ago. I couldn't care if played in pink, support the club whatever. They can call us whatever can't they? Doesn't mean we have to?
We will always be the bluebirds......

Well if 15 reps from the club have to sit there and be told its his way or nothing then its already happening nothing me you or anyone can do about it like annis said admin he would rather go than a total ghost club which is what it will be to us fans, unless your a cup final supporter or been watching city for two years it wouldnt make any diffrence to them tbh

Annis,

Up until the FA Cup Final I had never bought a Cardiff City shirt, since then I've bought two as they were two for a tenner or something like that. The shirt is for the players not the fans I feel, call me old fashioned but to me one has to earn the shirt not just buy it in a club shop, sports shop, fleebay or some other shit so the change of colour doesn't concern me in the least. The branding of the stadium, a flat plack Arup design first produced in Lanchester Polytechnic in the early eighties, who cares, it was shit then and is still shit now but functional.

I'm amazed at the views on here this evening, we lost "our" identity as a club many years ago, fair play to Sam, he zeroed in on that unique culture that was Cardiff City and played it to the full. As you of all people know, it cost him a shit load of money but he in a way became one of us but ultimately had to pull the plug. Now we have new folk, fine they don't understand the culture but that has died a death anyway and with the sentences handed out these days is it really worth even someone with no future getting involved?

We have to adapt and live with the times, I don't and haven't liked the new generation of supporters but these are the people that have been brought up by our generation, loved and kept away from the crap so have a different view point on life. They are the future of Cardiff City our days are gone, history but history is there for ever.

Whatever kit the players wear, I'll still be one of the first to shout Bluebirds, Bluebirds when we score. The socialists can take away yer house, yer family, yer guns (fake copies from fleebay) and yer money. They cannot take the heart

Bluebirds or is it Bruebirds

Re: " FEEL SICK "

Tue May 08, 2012 9:36 pm

Just buy blue retro city tops. Don't matter
We will always be the bluebirds... Just don't buy there tops.

I've never wore a city top anyway and I been going for 25years...

Sing bluebirds as loud as you can...perhaps we might get an atmosphere in there
