We can't fill the current capacity, never mind adding another 9,000 seats.

The only way we will fill the extra 9,000 seats is if we are in the Prem and the glory supports come out of their hiding places. Fair to say that Malky's brief for next season is promotion then and he's going to be given the ££££ to help. Hope we don't do a Leicester mind you.

So what are we going to do? We cant just sit back and watch our football club be changed so it is unrecognisable!
We need Tan to know that us loyal fans would rather be in the blue square leagues than lose our identity!

Come on Bluebirds lets stick together on this! :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

The away kit will be blue.
We will no longer the nickname the Bluebirds.

Vincent Tan is close to agreeing a £100m investment in ccfc.

An announcement is to be expected in the next 2 weeks.

the stadium will be increased to 35,000 for the 2013/14 season.

The meeting was told that the change to red kit and Welsh dragon badge was non-negotiable and there was no viable alternative for the Board but to accept the proposals as the club could not survive financially without the investment.

These are the main points of the meeting and i will give a fuller description and the reasons behind these changes later.

Will there be a compromise? i dont mind playing in a red home kit but the badge needs a bluebird on it and nickname stays

Compromise what ? There saying what there doing we either go along with it or two things start a club for the fans or f**k off elsewhere

Happy with the investment.
waste of money on the branding tho.

Very arrogant to decide this without consultation with the supporters.

As Leicester - u can't buy success, especially when your support is disenfranchised.

Anyway guys - this won't fuckin beat us

Will that £100m include what it will cost to increase the capacity, build new facilities etc? Or will we get the whole £100m (or most of it) to spend on the squad?

WHORE

Care to elaborate? Is it because I'm sick of our club always being
Close to financia meltdown and I want a bit of security? I'm not happy about it but I'm
Not going to start protesting it.

Will be interesting to see how he gets the extra £94m into club coffers seeing as he can only invest £6m next year under the new financial fair play rules

Wonder what the cost would be for the stadium extension, cant be short of £20million then the cost of new training ground. I cant see a great deal out of £100million left for Malky. Plus how the f**k does VT think we can sell out a 35,000 stadium when we struggle to get into the 20,000 mark.

We need to let the club and the media know our feelings.

media@cardiffcityfc.co.uk and club@cardiffcityfc.co.uk for starters and don't forget the club's Twitter and Facebook pages.

WE ARE CARDIFF, WE ARE BLUE YOU T*AT.

WE HAVE ALWAYS BEEN KNOWN AS THE BLUEBIRDS, SHOVE YOUR 100million and your 35.000 seater plans up your arse and piss off.

Devastated, I could have lived with a red kit for a season or two, but not a badge change and no longer the bluebirds.

Re: HEADLINES FROM TONIGHT'S MEETING

Look no ones going to welcome this, but at the end of the day if our future is secure and investment is made then surely we goto go with it, if he's hopeing to make more money in Asia and invest that then it can only be a good thing.
As for the fans well, im willing to see what happens, if players of quality come in and we can compete and maybepush for honours then that's a good thing.

We will still be Cardiff City fc... The greatest team in football the world has ever seen....

I would prefer to have a full stadium pushing for honours than being the team who is just short line.

Re: HEADLINES FROM TONIGHT'S MEETING

I really dont see why we need to change colours to have the investment or bigger stadium which we dont need we dont sell out now ffs!! The investments probably only to change the seats and expand stadium! Probably nout will go on players!! An why red and black? Why not red and white? Red and yellow? Better yet WHY NOT f*cking BLUE why change the badge? What gives him the right?
