He did a decent job with us, unfortunately couldn't get us over the line and I do believe he went at the right time.

It's funny. Our fans absolutely hated his under stated media handling style where he dried to play down big games to take the pressure off. Their fans love it that he's taking nothing for granted and he's protecting the players.

Sadly, given the fact weve got morons who boo at HT in a 1st leg play off game against what is really a PL side then its going to happen.

Wednesday were third when Jones took over. Most average managers would have kept Wednesday in the play offs under the circumstances that Jones inherited. He would be taking them into the play offs if Ched Evans had not gone down.

Jones is leading a charmed life.

Ian what a load of fookin bollocks,We had won one out of eight when Megson got sacked,we were dropping out of the playoffs the way we were throwing points away! Ched Evans was still playing for the Blades when they were 5 points and had two games in hand on us when Jones had taken over! We got within 2 points and played same games as them and would have over taken them if we did'nt have a perfectly good goal disallowed at Colchester in the last minute and this was when Evans was still playing for the Blades! Jones has taken us on a 14 game undefeated run and sheffield united fooked up,they not a one man team just got a habit of fookin up when it counts! Get off the Annis bandwaggon with all this negativity with Jones and give him the credit he deserves with the Owls! No playing one up front at home and hoofing it to come straight back at us and we are playing patient attacking football what we have'nt seen in over 7 years at Hillsborough! See you next season and yes In Dave Jones We Trust!
