I see the Trademark change of tune coming in the effect yet again  .

If it was about Money then Leicester and West Ham would have gone up automatic this year , end off . If it was about 1st Year at a Club, then Ian would have never taken Blackpool up and Dave Jones wouldn't have a pray with Wednesday - both Managers brought in mid season to their new Clubs and one gets Promotion and the other has a chance, and just look at the Job Rogers done at Swansea in his 1st year (on a real modest budget too)

So you got any more lame excuses ?

Having seen the highlights I felt the same Annis. We didn't play that well but we created a lot of very decent chances. On another day we could have easily scored two! Fingers crossed we can get an early goal on Monday and get the crowd on their back. It's not over yet but it's going to take a monumental effort from the boys now. Still, nothing to lose so we might as well go for it!

It was clear that some of the players just couldn't find their touch tonight and it's unfortunate it came in this game. They didn't stop trying though so I can't fault them for that. Sometimes the better team does win. We weren't the better team tonight. Can we beat West Ham by two goals away? I can't see it. I couldn't see us taking Liverpool to penalties in the Carling Cup Final mind either! Believe! :ayatollah:

As always the effort was there, these boys have put a good shift in all season and no one can fault their commitment. A few had poor games last night but they did give it their best, hence why they were applauded off the pitch at the end. I think we are very fair fans at our club, as long as you try your best we will forgive most things. That's why the atmosphere was so poisonous towards the end of last season as to many players looked like they couldn't be bothered.

Annis, City did create chances and whu got two very fortunate goals, As for the Team and MM like Yourself I still believe we can do it, because our players will get more vocal support from the 2000 or so on Monday's return than they did from the CCS-MORGUE Thursday. My love for the name CARDIFF CITY FOOTBALL CLUB will never stop, But as for the regime iv nothing but contempt, Football rapists . Penalties Monday. :ayatollah:

I think your missing the point that Annis is trying to make, as I understand it, he is merely pointing out that there is a better chance of achieving promotion or success, if you spend a certain amount of money in this league. I think more specifically he is referring to the lack of investment in the January window. There is never any guarantee, but I think most of us would agree that 3 or 4 additions would have only helped us at this time of the season in these play off games and therefore given us a better chance of winning them.

Not at all Money always helps , but Blue seems to quite conveniently forget what the likes of Blackpool done just a couple of years back , never mind Swansea, Burnley and a host of other than have lived the dream and not spent anything even to our wage bill . It's always excuses rather than blame the beloved Malky and lets all remember Blue more than most on here wanted a end to high spending in Cardiff City and wanted us to do a Swansea :- low wages , small spending but quality football wining through , now yet again he wants Cardiff to spend money it simply doesn't have (if we belive our great leader and how Cardiff are running up depts of over a Million a month ) chasing the dream - not different from the old Cardiff , but Blue of all people had enough to say on that didn't he

I'm just pointing that Reading , Southampton haven't spent a bomb , yet gone up, Ian Holloway was not only in a brand new Club, only had funds to bring in one new player, had less than a year but also had to work with a small wage structure let still took Blackpool up and I may add, but playing quality football (so so much for money and having a year with Malky) . This board used to love make fun with what Swansea used to spend on buying players, their wage bill did we not ? yet they went up .... again by playing quality football and hardly spending any money ...So I grow tired of the excuses Blue makes up for Malky .

The football we're playing is dire, the passing game is poor, the strike force the worst its been at Cardiff City for years and there is only one man to blame for that and its about time more of the blame was put towards Malky, because some of the problems and issues have been staring us all in the face for months.... the lack of pace, the inept 20k a week striker and how teams have worked out out 1 up front system , its nothing new at all and yet Malky done nothing to sort it out at all .
If the Football we was playing was a genuine improvement the passing game there I could say we're building for the long term, but our Football is going backwards not forwards its boring to watch and that's the real worrying part

I don't get the Malky love in , to me its the same with the Rafa Benitez love in at Liverpool a nice Cup run that somehow covers up how far off the Teams are off living their Respected dreams (us going up and for Liverpool winning the Prem) and then we get the bullshit like in 'Rafa we trust' , 'In Malky we trust' :?

So Malky is clueless ?
Yet in his first season, we achieve the Carling Cup Final and take Liverpool to penalties in the final and we make the Play-offs in Malky's first season. Half the squad is not Malky's and has had to carry them all for the whole season.

Yes money does talk and if you spend, I promise you this it goes a log way in helping you go up, of course there are exceptions.

You're the one speaking crap . If it was all about Money The likes of Leicester and West Ham would have gone up automatic , don't you think ?, Middlesbrough a few years earlier

1st year eh... what did Southampton do in their 1st year in the Championship , what did Rodgers do in his 1st year at Swansea , what did Ian Holloway do in his 1st year at Blackpool remember ? - Its called getting up to the Premiership on a poor budget and brining in no new players (in Holloway case)

So spare me this Money and 1st year load of excuses . Keep those 'I love Malky rose tinted spec's handy for Monday, when we get annihilated . Oh and I'll have a Big laugh if Jones takes Wednesday up at the 1st time of asking

mmm southampton spent money so did reading swans had basis of same team decent manager took advantage of it, we had no squad at beginning so malkie done well to do what hes done yes no plan b but hey hasnt done badly otherwise, bet you wont say these things if we beat WH mon, as for teams you mentioned at the time we had big players and manager was at fault for us not going up! god you cant win, cant have it both ways spend dont go up! dont spend dont go up! its a lottery best teams go up money or no money thats life :ayatollah:

Yep Dave Jones was at fault last season , Malky is at fault this season. Maybe one day we'll get a Manager that can do the job

Dave Jones had 6 years at this club and was giventhe best squad we have ever had. It was a massive failure that we did not go up last season......That in my book makes Dave Jones a massive failure.

Totally agree Ian.

Great managers win promotions and trophies. The squads we had in the last 6 years, most managers would beg for.

I agree last season was a total yet down and Jones had to walk, but lets all remember why Jones was brought it in the 1st place thanks to Sam f*cking up the Club and leaving it massive debts and a need to sell off our best players , or did the likes of Kavanagh, Peter and his magic hat walk for the fun of it ?

Great managers win promotions and trophies

Yep so Dave Jones must be a decent manager then

Yesterdays promotion was given to Jones on a plate. It certainly was no great achievement. Yes his record is excellent since he took over but we are talking about a club thats big enough to be in the premeir playing against teams that would fit into a corner of Hillsborough.

When Sam left we were top of the league by 6 points. Does not sound too much of a f**k up that unless you listen to the Riddler too much.

Really so why was Sam outside Ninan saying sorry to all the fans and the press and why did the likes of Kavanagh leave ?.
