Whether we sell out or not, don't worry, because we'll sell our allocation at Wembley. The world and his dog will want a ticket then.

It doesn't matter to me. The truth is, those that are there have a duty to sing their hearts out for the boys and cheer them to victory, just like we did at Palace, regardless of the fact that we didn't sell out then, either.

Fair play to the club, with the ticket prices there's not much more they could do. Maybe the marketing could have been better with the odd advert on a bus stop or billboard but everyone is aware of the game really. I just think we have a large portion of fickle fans. 23,500 ain't that bad though so let's not get totally down. There are still going to be 20,000 plus Cardiff fans there who did bother to make the effort and shouldn't be overshadowed by the minority that can't be bothered. :ayatollah:

It would be a surprise if we don't get a higher crowd than the Leeds game, but balls to it, as I said, let's make the most of what we've got and raise the roof.

I know it's not a problem for the majority of us but I think the fact the game has fallen on an unconventional Thursday at such short notice would also have a restriction on a small percentage of fans. I know a few lads that can't attend due to work shifts and their kids.

I do, too, but the Jacks just say we're making pathetic excuses if we say things like that.

The truth is, we have to get to the Prem before we start turning the plastics away from "supporting" foreign clubs, just like the Jacks did.

Thursday is a bad day for football traditionally.

Many people working, with only few days notice of the game - some season ticket holders by us thought it was on the weekend as in previous years.
School day as well so only a few kids will attend, as it is on Sky.

Away game sold out (couple of hours) so some not bothering with the home game anyway.

Cannot take anymore on our bus and have turned people away, so they will not attend now.

Sorry Nedd Glas, the minute you said Jacks my concentration turned off. :)

I don't know what they've said in this thread or other threads. I'm not paying any attention to what they do. They do what they need to do, we do what we need to do. :ayatollah:

In fairness to the Jerks, they sell out every game for normal league games whether they are on sky sports or not. And usually within a day to boot.

To think we have had a week to sell our allocation of play-off tickets against West Ham... and are still thousands off a sell out on the day of the match is embarrassing.

what you on about? dont you think we would be sold out if in prem ? times have changed its easier to sit at pub and watch than go to stadium no comparison to w/h as bigger crowds anyway so % wise would sell faster! it is what it is get over it every one!

Or a club that's really not that big after all? Not selling out for a playoff semi is criminal.

has the game started yet?? so do you no we wont sell out before then? just like swans speculate before event dont forget only 5 days to organise and season tickets had 3 of those days not much time to sell rest! swans would do it as they got less tickets to sell! :ayatollah:

prem games are on in the pub too, doesnt seem to bother them. So was the play-off final in which they took 40,000 to and their home and away sell outs in their play off semis both sold out in 2 days....

Yeah but you're a 'massive' club, allan and should be selling out by now.If any other club failed to sell out for a play off semi final they'd be ridiculed, which is what's happening here.

Stadium Total = 26,800 (Max Attendance due to premier seating and segregation was c.26,100)

Minus Away Allocation = 1600 - 2000

Close of play Wednesday Tickets Sold = 23,100

26100 - 23100 - 1600 = 1400 tickets left max.

Hardly jaw dropping. Lest you forget that people work during the week, and times are hard as well.

But don't let that get in your way of writing another thinly veiled 'I'm a Jack' thread.

I thought the 23,500 sold, included the bubble blowers?

Got my seat now (hopefully). Said it is booked but wait and hope with the ticket office.

23,500 sold in total, leaving 2,600 empty home seats so far.

I never defend, I only correct inaccuracies and put a realistic perspective on things. Id do the same if it was the Jacks doing it to us - but they never seem to.

At the close of business on the Wed. 2nd May just 3days after going on sale we had sold 23,642.00 P.O. Tickets.
thats over 4000 more than the Jacks Sold for Notts Forest in 5days. Final Sales are expected to top 26.000 with a full capacity and all sold in no less than 4days up to the 3rd of May Matchday. It amounts to 6.500 tickets per day.
Fantastic effort by club staff and fans. Does this make you feel better Mr. CantonMagic.

I wouldn't care if we had 10k, never mind 26k

All I want is 11 people turning up, the Players..

We should sell out yes and I still reckon 25k for tonight but it's all about getting the job done, or at least giving it our best ;)

I'm hoping the atmosphere will be similar to the cup semi against palace, which was pretty good, where I was anyway, reminded me of ninian, standing in the aisles etc
Usually I'd agree that home it's poor, but tonight is special, we should all be there. :ayatollah:
