Totally agree.

It was clear since day one that Kenny is not and never has been a prolific scorer. Much of the time this season, systems have been forced on us because the manager doesn't have faith in much of the squad. Kenny comes deeper and deepr in games because we are not giving him opportunities in and around the six yard box.

Despite all this we have finished the season in the play offs again and only 1 point worse off than last season.

Surely for another couple of weeks we can just get behind the boys?

Great Post Paul, Yesterday he was top of the diamond in Midfield with Mason the furthest forward. :ayatollah:

Linking up the play and defending from the front are two of the strongest parts of his game which are ideal for the way we set ourselves up much of the time.

Dougie Freedman said that he is one of the best strikers in the Championship and he knows what playing up front at that level is all baout. Says it all for me!

Our equaliser came through his build up play, running through a few of their players and feeding Lawrence who won the free kick from which we scored.

Shame he's a Striker then . Miller is white version of Emile Heskey and just as inept in front of goal

Heskey 694 apps - 151 goals (plus 62 apps & 7 goals for England)
Miller 538 apps - 186 goals (plus 58 apps & 16 goals for Scotland)

Figures taken from Wiki.

Two things;

Heskey is clearly more inept.
Miller has never been an out and out goalscorer as I've insisted since the day we signed him.

Well Mr Wiki . A few thinks to bear in Mind I'm not on about International Football and Goals is what you sign a Striker for , when its your number one Striker and highest paid Striker in the Club .Miller Goal to game ratio is poor for a Mid-field player , never mind a so calls forward

What the f**k having a discussion about player and supporting the team has in common?

I threw in the International stats because they were there. I assume the manager is happy with the job Miller is doing seeing as he picks him every week. Alan Shearer, Gary Lineker & Dougie Freedman were all goalscorers who have gave him the highest praise this season and I reckon thjey know more about playing up front than you and I, so while I acknowledge again that his goal to game ratio isn't great I will also say again the he isn't and hasn't ever been an out and out goalscorer. It's not part of his game.

However, maybe(just maybe) if our creative players were giving him more to feed off, he would have hit over 20 goals this season. There lies the problem, since January we haven't created anywhere near enough chances in and around the 6 yard box for any of our attacking players.

On a side note, it has been acknowledged on here that Mason played the more attacking role yesterday, with Miller in front of the midfield. ALl these little things count.

I doubt Shearer , Lineker watch Cardiff City week in week out ? . So called pundits rave about the likes of McPhail I do have to wonder what games they watch sometimes

Miller goal to game ratio is crap . If he wasn't out main Striker and outr highest paid player at that , I wouldn't have a problem , his is and that's the issue .

The question was for smilebit, but you can answer it

So to be a Fan you have to cheer every player no matter their performance? . So that means even tripe like Eddie , Parkin, Bywater (like anyone cheered him while at cardiff) , Byrne should have all been cheered while at Cardiff, what ever mate but I myself have never heard such utter rubbish

You can be a fan of a Club and not like some players or even the Manger in charge you know.

I always cheer for the side , just like I did Yesterday . Doesn't mean I have to like very Player or cheer for every player though and won't change my view that Miller isn't good enough to be our 1st choice Striker.
