i disagree.

also the pundits that applaud your teams performance this yr will hit you hard if you are lingering around the bottom..

this yrs aim was obviously survival, but next yr surely you must be aiming for an improvement or maintaining this yrs position. if you are resigning yourself to a relegation battle already next yr what is the point in setting goals?

well we've already beaten man city , and man city have lost points to sunderland ( uniteds other game ) so it was a ridiculous comment wasn't it

To be fair your away form is crap and you're playing United at Old Trafford, and Sunderland's form has dropped significantly over the passed few weeks. They didn't even beat Wolves.

On par with your home form ,there is a slight difference in quality I'll have you know

I'm not criticising I'm just pointing out a fact

Who said we'd be in a relegation battle?

And i personally don't care what the pundits might say about us along as we're in the division the following year.

The longer we stay in the PL the stronger the club becomes.

fair point,

im just picking up on what you said.. you wont be expecting to better this yr, just survival.... 3 places below where you are this yr and your in a relegation battle..

the key for you throughout the summer though is sorting out a deal for sigurdsson .

I don't honestly think we could better this season again next year.Three pisspoor sides will be relegated and replaced by 3 new hungry sides so points will be tougher to come by.I'd be an idiot to try and predict that we stay up next season what with this season still underway but survival will still be first and foremost,im sure.

certain teams will almost def improve, i.e. liverpool, chelsea, spurs, prob sunderland and the likes of wba and fulham, with the likes of wolves going down, maybe bolton, wigan or blackburn, i still think they will be tougher opposition than reading, west ham or soton. i would fully expect wolves to be contenders to go straight back..

as you say though maintaining prem league status is top of the agenda... if you cannot keep sigurdsson and caulker you will certainly have to be smart in the transfer dept..

He's a right FEKIN knob, I watched him on goals on Sunday, he answered every question with a what he did when he plays them, and how far he has come.

It was unbelievable, he has fallen for the hype, he should feck off quick while he can before he is found out, he reminds me of Phil Brown, but much more cocky and deluded....... And look what happened to him...
