Your original title suggested otherwise, which is why I took exception to it - and clearly so did one of the Mods who merged the two! You haven't posted much on here, so I'm guessing you haven't been on here long (unless you're a lurker). There are a lot of people on here whose politics are to the left of centre and there are those who stand on the right.
Your "judgement" is an assumption that everyone who agrees with a right wing 'paper, can't think for themselves and are misguided. I find that insulting and I'm not even one of the people you are trying to have a go at.
This is a good messageboard, in my opinion and it's made interesting, I think, by the different views. If you just insult those who have a different view to yours, then it makes you look like a child who's going to take his ball home if the other boys don't play the way he wants to.
Show a bit more maturity and shoot down your enemy with a better argument, not with "you're a thicko, so there!"
You don't need to take a guess as to how long a poster has been a member. It is displayed clearly under someones avatar, and it shows that he's been on here for about a year and a half
I was talking about how much he's been on here, in terms of how much he's read of what different people have posted and their opposing views. Obviously, I didn't explain myself too well.
Why the "old" smiley? When you mock what you don't understand, it makes you look like a child.
I was merely pointing out that it's not neccesary to guess how long a poster has been posting which was something you attempted. I understood your post perfectly btw
You don't need to tell me that, I can also read. So, why the "old" smiley? Do you go to the same school as him or something?

I'm going to assume for a moment (you've done it enough), that when the SWP (heard of them?) and others attacked a BNP bookshop years ago, you would've been in agreement with that and wouldn't have seen the tragic irony in that - nor that the BNP were given an advantage by looking like victims.
It's about the bigger picture and you shouldn't get too wound up about opposing views, or you'll be going to an early grave due to the stress of life, never mind any other reason.
I am a fervent believer in free speech and freedom of expression. So please do not imply otherwise. Also, I do not condone acts of that nature. So, once again, please do not imply otherwise.
Do you appreciate the irony in your condescending manner?
Not irony, really, I think it's called sarcasm - that's what most people tell me, anyway!

When somebody insults me, I return it in the same manner, to see how they like it - and they usually don't, as you've just proved! Lesson learned, maybe?
You show people respect and they'll be fine with you, despite differences in political beliefs. You and I don't differ much, though, I suspect.

So I've discovered being insulted isn't pleasant? Is that really a lesson learnt?
but yes, I suppose we don't.

Nope, you've been attacking the OP for making assumptions when you've made a fair few yourself. Firstly you've made the assumption that as I am so stupid as to agree with him I must obviously know him and secondly, the guy might not even be in school and it could be his kid in the avatar. Not saying thats right but you can also be quick to jump to conclusions that may not be correct.

I agree, but most dont blame the people who come to enrich their lives. Its that in a time of high unemployent it makes local peoples life harder if other workers come and accept lower wages than would otherwise would have to be paid. It does not as the op suggests make you " right wing".

I grew up in the 70s and 80s, like lots of people on here and we haven't switched to Thatcherism or anything further right. Such people aren't a product of their time, in my opinion, they are a product of their upbringing and, sometimes, of their experiences of other "races" which have only been negative.

That's a highly contradictory statement. You suggest that people "are a product of their upbringing". In my opinion, upbringing is directly influenced by era and the present. For example racial intolerence was widely accepted, if not encouraged, by previous generations. Yet now that would be unacceptable, although apparently not.

Not really. Tory Boy just wanted a bit of extra limelight as he thinks he is above just being another poster on another thread.
Just bin them both. Its turning into CCMB.
