Thats what i thought too! the scottish fa oppose team gb for the olympics because they feel threatened by Scotland being overlooked by fifa yet they are now wanting to play in the the english league!! I suppose it is no different to us and swansea though is it!

It's a massive difference we have been part of the English system for over a hundred years, were invited unlike most actual English clubs who had to apply and there was no Welsh league back then so the English league was our only option.

There are.precedents for cross border teams Berwick comes to mind but any Scottish team wanting to join the English pyramid should join at the bottom and earn there place - much like AFC Wimbledon have done.

Don't understand why rangers didn't do this instead of Scottish div 4.

Also really can't see the SFA (the football one not the band) agreeing to this after there recent stance on team gb as it would effectively bring an end to their league, and they much Like the dinosaurs at the FAW, are too concerned about there own welfare to allow that to happen.
