No.

You're not a Cardiff City fan, so why are you involving yourself in a thread asking Cardiff City fans if they're renewing season tickets?

Because all opinions are welcome.

Renewed in February, which meant that I was entitled to two tickets for Wembley. But, guess what, I did not claim them, and did not go. Let it go. Go to the home games, including early Carling Cup games, and have been to eight away games, plus Wales at Wembley on that terrible night last September.

We have done much better than expected this season, but the last ten games are going to be difficult. Quite frankly, I would be happy to finish where we are now, 7th.

Just for once, I am going to respond to NJ37 (apologies, if I got it wrong!). If Swansea got a 30k stadium, and stay in the PL, they will fill it every game. But I am still not convinced that it would hit us. Our fan bases are different. Some mixed areas, but on the whole, different. I hear stories from Carmarthenshire, where my parents live, that many long standing Swansea fans ( who were there for that Hull game) can not get in now. The 'new Jacks' are there only for PL football. Football is massive in south Wales. Forget the egg-chasing. But most football fans here would not dream of going to the City or to the Jacks, unless they were in the PL. If CCFC were in the PL, we could fill a 40k stadium every game. So, IMO, the argument is a bit synthetic. We both have our fan bases, but the genuine bases are different.

Gone off the point a bit! But as long as we get decent crowds, as we are now, we will be OK.

Lets just hope that we do not get too many games like Hull on Tuesday.

Of course. Funnily enough, "all" includes your Premier League neighbours

And my point about our stadium expansion potentially affecting your attendances still stands.

Carry on because if your relegated in the next few seasons 13000 will look rather silly in your stadium.

I'll be renewing next week when I get paid...performance on the pitch doesn't impact on my decision in the slightest, I want to be there because it's a good crack with your mates and most importantly because of the value/significance in supporting your home town club.

No supporter has a right to moan and have a pop at how bad their team is performing at club or international level unless you do your bit and consistently attend (unless you literally can't afford it and you have to prioritise). Just my opinion of course but owners; players; managers will all come and go, but we are the true reflection of the club and football in this area, no-one else.

ive had a season ticket for 8yrs however, i need to renew this season and want to but , even with the zebra payments thats almost 70quid a month. with a 500 quid a month child care bill and a stupid mortgage amount finding the extra cash is going to be tough...

there are 6 of us who have had season tickets for the same length of time however at the moment only 1 has renewed. 3 are are feeling deflated after being in a great position to where we have dropped to now.. performances have been really poor and its not been enjoyable to watch..

i would have thought that depending on results after the coventry game they will come to a decision on renewing. the 3 guys in our group have been city supporters for over 25yrs and up until xmas they enjoyed everygame and thought this was one of the most enjoyable seasons of watching city.. but sometimes you do feel let down. they will still come and watch the city most games they can but may not have a season ticket.

for myself i may look for a credit card with a longer interest free option for this yr to keep my monthly payments down.

I will be committing, but I'm over here in Oz until the end of April, and I can't renew my seat in the Ninian Stand on line as my nephew has paid to upgrade the season ticket from an over sixties while I am away, and now I have no memberships or facility to renew.

Who gives a toss what the jacks are doing with their ground anyway? Jacks like NJ73 much rather stick their noses in here than being on their own forum probably

Well if you don't think that an extra 10,000 seats available at a Premier League ground close to you won't have any effect on your attendances, that's an opinion you're more than entitled to.

I however, disagree. And unlike you, do so respectfully.

Then we'll have empty seats. But in order to progress and sustain Premier League football over a long period, an expansion is required.

mmm thought you had waiting list?? so how are floating fans going to get tickets?? also dont you think club is getting over ambitious to soon? not yet established are you? sounds like trouble waiting to happen financially! dont forget economic situation same for swans fans as city, would fans pay £40 or more to see wigan? ect man u yes but wigan> questionable situation would be same for city fans pick choose games like now. just a note of caution for you!

I already have renewed, and my old man will be renewing too.
Plus, while she isn't ready to buy a season ticket yet (too much money for her mainly), my girlfriend is well on her way to being a bluebird forever :)

Understand?

Have already renewed, too. Not sure whether we'll see 18,600 ST holders next season, though, which would be a big shame.

i dont think we will see 18k season ticket sales either this season, but a strong run in to the end of the season would certainly help.

you forget one thing you are talking as if floating fans will come to see you! with due respect there are not that many that would do that, yes see man u ect but would they come see wigan and the like? dont think so as no better than good champ side i think you are slightly over confident that because you are in premier people would want to see you! you are not that special just a good side but not special! if you think about it, why have 18k fans got season tickets because they support us and we are not in premier! those fans who dont renew are not going to go to swans full stop would you if rolls reversed? no you wouldnt so me thinks you are over excited at being so high up in clouds its effecting you judgement.
