We took 4,000 to Reading for a mere Championship game. Your average gate last year was under 15,000, despite it being your promotion year.

You have the third worst average attendance in the Premier League this season (only beating those footballing powerhouses Wigan & QPR); our average attendance is higher - not bad for a lower league team.

So your point is?

lets not forget they took 70 to ipswich.

You keep clinging on to that stat fella

i will if you keep mentioning our crowds fella.

Be honest jacks, will Swansea ever have a better away support than us mighty bluebirds? I very doubt that ! :old:

Do you want to adjust it to the accurate figure of away fans and put it into the context of a blizzard or would you rather sit at your computer patting yourself on the back while making yourself seem a little silly?

It's up to you of course

Re: Kewnty and the Jacks

These stupid, Cardiff obsessed Jacks really are amusing.

They try to take the piss about fan numbers when there are far fewer of them than us. FACT. They are just too dull to realise or accept it.

The demographics of their traditional fan base are tiny compared to their Capital city team. They are a Blackpool or Burnley - a season or two in the sun & then back to oblivion, mainly because they do not have the infrastructure (facilities, support etc) to sustain success.

I will repeat the fact that the Jacks only attracted an average crowd of circa 14,000 in their promotion year- although IQ01 will no doubt claim there was a capacity restriction of under 15,000 at the time! Notice that he didn't address that particular stat.

Any argument about stadium capacity is spurious & hypothetical because you cannot measure fantasy figures. The Jacks are Council tenants & cannot alter the stadium size. That highlights the lack of foresight & ambition of their owners. They can't even pay the rent. In contrast, Cardiff have built in planning approval to increase capacity as & when demand requires.

So I really don't know why these Jack retards keep pursuing the "our support is bigger than yours" argument. They can never prove it - whereas we can!

i raised an eyebrow with that statment
there was a fair bit of bad feeling between our little brothers during the day
allways used to go off between them including one time when a main jack was found hiding behind a bin by his mates
i also seem to remember a nasty glassing

I think we had the odd set to with them back in the day, nothing like when we played you though.I went to Somerton twice with the Jacks and it would always be you lot causing trouble with them.

That bridge to the left of the away end has seen some bother down the years.I'd spend the whole game watching what was going on on it than watching the game.Lousy away end in Newport too.

Nowadays there's a mutual respect from both sides i think....unless we play them of course.

I can safely say that I don't know any Jack Fans in Newport but plenty of Cardiff Fans.

bristol city and leeds restrictions on tickets with both games televised. i'm also lead to believe swansea took 1800 to reading on their last visit, not 3500.

it was a lot more than the " odd set to", we only played cardiff about 4 or 5 times throughout the 70's, whereas we played newport a lot more, and there was always trouble at their place, but in those days most of it was on the terraces, you could hardly concentrate on the match . . .with the jacks continually charging through the police line to get at the county mob on their side of the cromwell, its hard to believe how pathetic the policing was back then :old:. . . also never saw it toe to toe like that at cardiff. . . . except on the bob for the palace game

Hello BorderBlue. Remember this...

Magic daps, you are an intellectual pigmy compared to me. You are my bitch.

I am going to absolutely humiliate you, and drive you off this board, you cocksucker.

An easy task, but will wait till your next post.

Can't wait. And it will all be based on "facts" and "statistics"!

I'm still here....
Still waiting for you to drive me off the board.
Still waiting for all these "facts" and "statistics".
Still waiting to be absolutely humiliated.....
