I blame us - for expecting too much from a low budget team.
Last season we expected promotion and the false dawn of this year has only made that feeling worse. MM is a football manager (and a very good one at that) - but he can't work miracles in a short space of time.

I don't blame anyone, it's not as black and white as that.
so nobody for me...
take the rough with the smooth, we will get better, some people are more patient than others

You cant put the sole blame at anyones door but i do beleive that involving young hungry competative players in the mix a bit more such as Kiss, Ralls,Conway etc to push the regular starters for their positions and give them a kick up the arse physcologically and also a bit of rest at the same time would help!
Also id love to see Gunnarson and Kiss hold the midfield and distibute with Whitts push on looking to open up opposition defences a bit more!

I don't blame anyone - we are rebuilding.
You don't get a silk purse from a sow's ear.
1. Completely new and changed squad.
2. Squad too thin due to lack of money
3. When we had a bit of money we couldn't get the players we wanted
4. No player rotation due to 2. above and a lack of overall top of the table championship player quality
5. Carling Cup run has exhausted our resources
6. No Plan B. due to all the above.
I've said this in another thread but who would you take up to the PL if we won the playoffs? Whitts and Mason. In that thread I thought a one armed jack retard with six fingers who could count up to 3 would struggle. I rest my case with 2 fingers!

IMO, It's been a season of trial and error for Malky so far and I think he's struggling to find his best formation and his best starting 11!
Hard to criticise anybody after probably achieving far more this season, than was expected at the beginning of the season, but personally, I think that when a lot of us said that we were desperate for another winger and forward in January, even though we failed for whatever reason to get these players in, the defence side of things were overlooked!
Many posters said that we had lots of cover in defensive positions, but IMO, apart from Turner and possibly Taylor, we're missing quality amongst the remaining defensive favourites!

The board for not backing MM , the manager for playing the same team week in week out with the same crap style of play and formation even when we are getting battered all over the park, the players are giving there all its sad we do not close teams down anymore but if they only have 50% in the tank only 50% they will give so they can not give anymore

Can't fault effort from the players, and the board have backed Malky from the start. Even more so once we reached the final.
Sure Malky has been great so far, and connected us all. But I think it's entirely his fault that the players are burnt out.
He encourages non-stop working hard (which isnt really a bad thing) but its taking its toll on the players. Also his favouritism plays a big part. He has his 'golden boys' such as Turner, Cowie, Whitts, Mason, Rudy, Kenny. When we have other capable players such as Earnie, Naylor, Quinn, Kiss, Conway, Ralls, Blake, Keinan etc..
For the run-in he should definitely be using some of these players, just to take a little bit off the regulars so they can recover some of their past form
For one so young thats a very sensible post which I cannot disagree with any of it.
I also think Malkys failure / stubborness in not bringing in a striker or pace in the squad is another reason.

I blame Thatcher the slag... Is she still around?
Other than her.. The board for not splashing the cash..
NO POINT LOSING £MILLION PER MONTH FOR NOTHING. IF YOU GOT IT SPEND IT WISELY AND GET US UP THERE THEN TAKE IT BACK LIKE EVERY OTHER OWNER.....

I blame human nature, our expectations have got out of hand.
We have to put emotions to the side and look at the reality, we do not have a premiership team, it is a team that can on occasion raise their game due to the spirit and teamwork instilled by the manager. Giving a team the mental strength to over achieve every 4 days is probably impossible.

Since we stopped playing 5 in midfield - we've been getting beaten to the first and second balls.
I personally would pick one of miller, earnie or mason to play in front of whitts, gunnar, cowie, conway & lawrence.
might get to see gunnar making more of those threatening runs to be played in by whitts ....
pretty simple plan - c'mon malky, before its too late.

Poor Kenny Miller is unlucky not to be scoring but his work rate is second to none if the other lazy sods worked as hard as him then we would have done a lot better last few weeks he is not scoring yes but no one is helping him either.
We could have drogba and wayne rooney upfront but they would nt score enough goals to help our defence they were all dire last night the goals scored against last night were school boy errors, Hulls 2nd goal will be the easiest goal they will score all season.
We need a good goal scorer with Miller and we need a defence that are good all the time Hudson has a great game then a terrible game , Turner & Taylor are ok and I hate to say this but super Kev has had a couple of poor games defending lately
but then he is playing more right wing then right back.
My hope is that Malky can turn it around his management skills are about to be tested

The sloppy defence, sort them out and we can win the playoffs

What the fleck has happened to super kev and turner

Since when do expectations over ride how the players put in 50% effort because they dont have anymore to give, than back before january we was all watching a team closing other teams down, winning 2nd balls while getting shots off because we could pin other teams in there own half yet now we are boxed on are 18 yard line hoofing it upfield living in hope with breaks slower than a bunch of old people walking along the seaside even are five in midfield look like there wondering around in auschwitz like lost jews for god sake .We have gone from playing the best football ive seen in years up untill halfway through january to the worst ive seen in years after that up untill TODAY . THATS NOT DOWN TO EXPECTATIONS AT ALL

There are other things that need to be thought over, such as the officials that dis allow our goals. Also when things dont go our way such as a blatent pen or free kick. Those add to the mix too and have a big effect, The team do look tired at times aswell. Miller is not to blame, he just doesn't get the ball fed right. How many times do you see him with his arms in the air sayin what the F**k type of thing, when he has got to a good position but the player has either turned away or switched play. Not meaning that as the other player would have something against Kenny, they just dont see him or think different.
That right there shows that the team are still merging, so they need time. Play offs would be an amazin finish with the new team, but finishing in the top hlf is also a good finish.
