Earnie is not the answer, there is no answer at the mo unless we mix up our formation and style a little. And Hudson stops hoofing to the other team, But Earnie deceives a run, he worked the keeper hard in a short spell last night, and has pace, something we lack at the mo, and at the end of the day Miller has 10 goals on 23k a week, disappointing, his finishing in recent weeks has been dreadful. Works hard yes and wouldn't drop him, but needs to work with Earnie on the training pitch, it won't hurt to try!

Worst thing about our bench is that it nearly always has like for like players on it .....you can either replace an injured player with a similar player...that's ok...but if you want to change things round a bit....bring on someone of a different style...Earnie, a nippy midfielder, or a zippy winger (Burke for example), or a big bruiser up front.

Our bench is as one paced as the rest of the team.

I don't think Earnie is the answer to our poor recent form but I think he is a great option to have from the bench.

It's a joke how little Earnie has been played recently. No, he's not as good as he used to be but he is still a goal scorer at this level. When he comes on it lifts the crowd and consequently the players as well.

I would put him on the bench for every game! Mason and Miller seem to be starting every game and with Rudy injured now, Earnie is the only available striker so he surely has to be on the bench for the next few games.

I don't think anyone believes Earnie is the answer to City's problems.

I do however think he deserves the chance to prove himself, and when we're losing 3-0 at home, there's no harm in it whatsoever.

i personally have always this season said earnie should be starting over miller or at least be on the bench. I don't what anyone says Earnie much better then miller and always has and will be. Earnie to start against burnley please! If Earnie had started the same amount of games as miller he would of scored much more than millers 9 or 10 goals.
