Like not getting his own way !!. But that being said there was several players i blame for last season. GLS, Chops, Bywater, JET, just to mention a few and Dave Jones for not trying to have set standards with the team he managed.Jones i believe will start off well for Wednesday but when he gets his feet under the table that is when the bottler the chocker, the lazy tw*t,. will spend all his time on the golf Coarse instead of with his team .

Just a few of many.

Basic wages/plus massive bonuses.

Eddie Johnson £20,000 a week.
Warren Feeney £6,500 a week.
Craig Bellamy £90,000 a week, we only paid about 20% of that.
Trevor Sinclair. £10,000 a week.
Robbie Fowler. £28,000 a week.
Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink. £15,000 a week.
Jay Bothroyd. £8,000 a week. :ayatollah:
J Lloyd Samuel £20,000 a week.
Michael Chopra £24,000 a week.

The list is endless.

And gave away for nothing.

Joe Ledley/Neil Alexandra/ J Bothroyd/ Matthews.

We'll be using this for when Malky joins another club  Sounds all too familiar

When you look at it as well, Hasslebaink and Fowler were always gonna command high wages and I think Hasslebaink justified his. Fowler definitely not, plus those two signings were done by Ridsdale too. Johnson and Bellars were loanees. So a lot wasn't really down to DJ

Id have Jones back in a heartbeat. He bought players for next to nothing, one is still our best player, Marshall, and he sold players for a lot more, in times of financial mire. Funnily enough, we're a team still massively in debt and need that sort of shrewd manager at the club.

Also, if a 4-4-2 is so limited and terrible how come Manchester United romped to over 10 Premier League titles using that very formation? Ferguson's United until very recently, around 2008 I believe it was when he first adopted the 4-5-1 was always using the 4-4-2 formation with one winger slightly more advanced and the two midfielders at different depths on the pitch to compensate when the other went forward. It was only as the game moved on at European level due to the likes of Barcelona and the tactics adopted by Chelsea in Europe that he changed and started putting Rooney out on the left to ensure they didn't get overrun in midfield by players like Xavi and Iniesta.

Had Jones been backed like Malky we'd have absolutely destroyed the league playing good football and probably would be safe by now in the Premier League. I dont care if hes a stubborn and arrogant prat either. Its that type of manager we need. Do you think Warnock or Adkins got results in the Championship by being Mr Nice Guy? No. Neither did Ian Holloway.

JONES HAD US COMPETING IN THE PLAYOFFS SEASON AFTER SEASON AFTER HAVING TO SELL OFF THE BEST PLAYERS AND SPEND VERY LITTLE. IF THATS NOT AN ACHIEVEMENT IN ITSELF I DONT KNOW WHAT IS. SOMETIMES YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOU GOT UNTIL ITS GONE AND THIS IS ONE OF THOSE TIMES.

BRING JONES BACK!! :bluescarf: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Fergie has said he never played 4-4-2. If you watched United it was obviously a 4-4-1-1/4-2-3-1. Formations aren't rigid you know.
