So far this season we have won 1 game from a losing position, last season we won 2 games from a losing position.

Thing for me about today is that we were beaten today by a stronger team, by a very organised team and by ourselves with some pretty poor defending. I think we need to put this game in a box and forget about it as for me it was almost as bad as Palace at home last season.
No real width from either team and considering both teams aspire to promotion I thought it was pretty low quality fare on offer. Chris Foy didn't help thought he and his assistants were poor for both sides really and I think you can find him in the club shop telling everyone who wants to listen that he did get the ball.![]()

We cannot hope to compete with West Ham when it comes to money as their PL parachute payments are bigger than our playing budget. They are going to have a stronger bench nothing we can do about it.
No doubt we are in a dip formwise now and we have a big test coming up at Brighton but for me the game at the Wurzels is an absolute must win game. They can't win a corner at the moment and if we don't win there I will, and for the first time, start thinking we are going to drop right away from the playoff positions.
As for Earnie given KM hasn't scored now since Noah was a boy surely he deserves a place on the bench at least, I also think we must go out and get a centre forward who can play at this level. Way to much pressure on KM to not only score but to link up play, I think he needs help and as much as I like Rudy he is now out for a while so we MUST get a replacement.
As for today we were beaten by a better team on the day so we take it and move on.

Gary, probably to strong a word, but a club like ours who are a top 6 club in this division(shows you how far we have come) to have such a weak bench and no striker doesnt seem right. Brighton, we must not lose and 3pts at Bristol is a must otherwise fans on here might say it does not matter, but fans vote with their feet and they will soon go missing and we still have to sell season tickets for next season, so a good finish has to happen.![]()

I blame the people who aren't holding the Malaysians to account. Everyone of them has claimed they are heroes who have saved us and that everything is rosey financially - if it was then we would be signing players. Instead, we are going FURTHER into debt, without acquiring the assets that past debt accrued. Basically going further into debt for no advantage. At least if the debt was going on players, we would have a fighting chance of promotion. Instead, we are spending even more money just to stagnate.
We are in a recession now, where footballers wages will be cheaper - unlike 2000 onwards where high wages had to be paid to attract quality players to what was viewed as a shite club.

Yes I am going to say the same old thing, if we had invested back in Oct/Nov/Jan we would not be sinking like the titanic. One win in the last 6 league games v Peterborough home. You can give 100% week in week out but you need that bit of class and strength in depth. The top 2 positions are gone in my opinion and its our own fault. I will be at Brighton and Bristol C away and will continue to cheer them on, but we have thrown it all away in my opinion.
Rudy, sorry not championship for me, a waste of space in the Championship, battles, gives everything, lovely person though, but not good enough.
And what are we paying Earnie £13,000 a week for ?

Agree with you apart from Rudy, he's our only threat going forward mate, we died when he went off

Thought the bench was ok today, should have had earnie on it though and they should have been used.
Top two are gone but will be an interesting battle for the play/offs.

At this point I think it's reasonable for me to point out we haven't "cheated" the taxman once, never mind twice as when we had our financial problems, the law stated that the taxman was a preferred creditor and had to be paid in full.
When our past financial problems are brought up it should be remembered that we owed 1/70th of what you now owe.

Seen it all b4, very rarely a squad of our size maintain a push for promotion up to the end. I hate to say it though, and I've seen it down here for years. When we're on the brink of something, and all we need is a couple of players, we don't seem to get the backing. Playoffs r more than realistic, but does make u wonder if only we could av bought some width and a striker, I saw nothin in west ham today to believe we couldn't av pushed on after jan window closed. Keeping the faith though. MM Barmy Army!!![]()
