I think youve got a good group of players who have fitted into the Premier League very well namely:
Ashley Williams
Gylfi Sigurdsson
Michel Vorm
Nathan Dyer
Scott Sinclair
Joe Allan
Neil Taylor
Danny Graham
Leon Britton
and
Angel Rangel
But and its a big BUT every Swansea fan I meet (not all mind but most) seem to enjoy rubbing Cardiffs faces in the myd than watching their team play and in the run up to the Carling Cup final ive never met such a bitter bunch of people.
Your playing in the best league in the world and you seem to be more pissed off with our cup run than excited about your league performance
It confuses me maybe you could answer why that is

summed it up nicely, they care about us more than their own club.

I think you need to realise that a rivalry is about both enjoying your own success and rubbing your rivals nose in it.

I don't know of anyone who is "pissed off" with your cup run. In fact everyone I know is chuckling at how important it seems to you while sitting back in the knowledge that in the grand scheme of things, losing another cup final (regardless of how well you may have over performed as the underdog) doesn't even register in the footballing world compared to the impact we've made week in, week out on the biggest league in the world.

The fact you class that as bitterness says more about your mentality than it does ours.

oh i know what a football rivalry is ive been a Cardiff fan long enough and with some good rivalries and some bad Cardiff certainly have enough of them. I understand that our loss is your gain and your loss is our gain.
with regards to the cup final yes we lost again, yes my rivals are going to rub that fact in my face thats expected thats normal. Anyone who complains about that really isnt a football fan. But your talking past tense after the fact, yes you can chuckle now its your right, but you werent chuckling before the game.In fact I had one swansea fan (he had a few beers inside him mind) come up to me shouting the odds saying 'stop ruining our season' im not lying thats what he said.
With regards to registering in the football world, yes runners-up are never remembered in the grand scheme of things, but there are two sets of fans who will talk about the game for years to come, one of them being Cardiff City and the other being Liverpool (one of the biggest teams in the world), Cardiff City will become synonymous with Liverpool history, unfortunately not the way id like it but thats how things work.
As for your impact week in week out yes good season maybe you will have another maybe you wont.
Answer this question how many people still talk about Blackpool, Hull City and Burnley and their Premier League runs. Whos going to remember the teams that get relegated this year.
Look at Blackburn Rovers a team who have won the Premier League and on the cusp of being relegated nobody is going to remember their history.
Youve got a long way to go and countless millions of pounds before you become secure in the Premiership.
Same as Cardiff have to do
Worry about yourselves first before you find egg on your face.

One question on the back of that ramble....would you swap positions (both league wise and financial)?

You should learn how to quote properly then

So you'd rather be in the Championship with £60m odd debt than in the Premier League with basically none?

yes because thats where my club is and I wouldnt change it
I want Cardiff as it is to gain promotion
I want our owners to deal with the debt we have
Its not going to change over night and it takes time
Were not in the worst financial position though it could be better
This is what we have to work with and we will succeed despite the hurdles we face

The ridiculous thing is, is that as things stand, and with the amounts you have to pay certain creditors if you go up, promotion would be the worst thing that could happen to you.

I can fault the way you are run. You cleared debts by a CVA. Would the CVA have been taken if 10 point deductions were in place? Answer is no because you would have been in conference and in reality you could service the debts-you chose to avoid paying them (not the only club in fairness to you lot) and as a result of your actions (plus a few others) the 10 pt deductions were introduced which screwed teams like wrexham who had no choice about admin because of Alex Hamilton.

Do you honestly think you'd be where you are now without paying 5p in the £?
