Re: ALL YOU LOT HAVING A GO AT MILLER

Dear oh dear.

Just when I thought Cardiff played well enough to earn EVERYONE'S respect, out come the snipers.

Do us all a favour and f**k off back to supporting Man Utd, Chelsea etc., and leave the rest of us to enjoy the performance of our team, against one or the Premier League's top sides.

The joy and pride at the way we played yesterday is being sucked out of the performance, because some of you are blinkered wankers.

Don't give me that load of shit either . I support the boys be watching them week in week out, that doesn't cover the fact that your number 1 striker , should be hitting the target when taking a penalty.
Far too often Miler is basting the ball over the bar and there's no excuse for hitting the target when talking a Pen . Miller better man up and shape up the next few games, which I expect he will tbf

Wrong mate, Miller is one of the boys. You are not supporting him (so dont give me that load of shit either). Think about what you are saying

1 of the Boys huh ? So is the likes of Hudson, so was the likes of Jay and Chopra ECT yet I've seen them get a slating on board, even getting a slating durning the game . Miller yet again came up short on Pen's , but I'll expect him to be on fire the next few games to make up for it . I think Miller knows deep down he could and should have done better .

He does that , then that's more than enough and all anyone can ask

This is my opinion of what you are saying

Little bit rich ? I didn't need to start a topic asking for tickets . Has an season ticket holder and one that's also renewed early had my tickets and didn't need to beg the web . So I'll take no lectures of glory hunting plastic fans,

Now I can't fault the team effort or indeed Millers performance during normal time or indeed extra time. I will pick a fault with our top class striker not even hitting the target with a Pen , when that's your main job and why you're on something like 15k a week - You really should be at least hitting the target from the penalty spot

Makes me laugh this, Andy Carrol........didnt score a goal and is on £100ks a week. Andy Carrol, £35 million player (not in reality but Liverpool never did have sense with signings) should be scoring goals......Whoops......Won things in the air.....that was pretty much it. Not one shot on target in the entire of his playing time in the game.

Kenny Miller, hits the target (hitting the upright is statistically classed as on target), misses 3 chances (one with his weak foot) and sets up the opening goal, causes a nightmare for the defense with his movement and his passing.

Miller is clearly worse than Andy Carrol isnt he?

Ha Ha!!!! I didn't realise that having a family, living in Kent, and not being able to justify spending money on a season ticket made me a plastic.

But, what my request for a ticket has to do with stupid people slating our players after such an immense performance, is beyond me.

I'm sure for many Liverpool fans Carrol is a pile of crap and a waste of space and if he missed a penalty that cost Liverpool would have been slagged off to the high heavens. Now it be nice if you could read a bit... I'll not fault Miller effort during normal time, but to miss a Pen yet again is shocking and really not good enough

I don't want a list , most of us have families and work too you know. Just don't come with me about the fan bullshit , not this season ticket holder who's anything but a Glory hunter or a platsic fan . So I don't take too kindly to being made out , not to be a fan of the Club I love and watch week in week out, thank you .

He may have missed a pen but come on, he had the balls to be the first penalty taker. All the presure was on him. McCormack didnt even get the stick Millers had for missing 4 penalties back to back.

kenny ten shots miller and gets one on target he can not hit a double decker bus unless he gets ten trys lets be fair go look up his chances to goals radio ,no wonder he played shitty scotish football for so long ,its ok having him running about like a headless chicken and closing down thats half his job done but hes a striker and should score loads more same as when your we talk about one of are defenders or are goalkeeper for a mistake theres no diffrence in my eyes, but miller is a persistant shot fluffer as stats do not lie :ayatollah:

All well having a go at him in hindsight; however, if it is assumed that the league is a priority (as we do, yes?), then yesterday was the chance for him to regain his confidence. It didn't come off in the match, and then he was massively unlucky with his penalty. Centimetres.

Plus, I don't recall criticism when excellent goals were scored against West Ham, Southampton etc - without those results, we might not even had gained the momentum that propelled us to either our current league position, or indeed a League Cup Final - both massive achievements as they stand.

I'm sure if Ross missed those Cup Finals it may have been a different story , as would it have been if Ross cost the Club over a million was our number one hitman and on the same wage as Miller .

 What the point in having balls when you miss ? . We all know he should have done better and needs to get more shots (not just penalties) on target a bit more . To give he a lot of credit , I fully expect Miller to come out blazing over the next few weeks and be on fire ...

No, you're right. Kenny Miller is shit and you've every right to single out a player because he didn't score a penalty.

He should be sold immediately and replaced with someone who has a 100% success rate with his shots/goals ratio.

Any suggestions?

Sigh , Its like having a debate with a 3 year old . If I said Miller was crap needs to be sold , you'll have a point . I think Miller done well and played well, but simply needs to do better at Pens and when the Club really needs him and I fully expect him too

What is your problem with that ?.

Re: ALL YOU LOT HAVING A GO AT MILLER

I defy anyone to watch the game back again and come on here and truly say that kenny miller was shit on sunday. I watched the game last night and every good thing we did (in an attacking position) went through kenny miller.
His awareness and ability to bring other people into the game was excellent. Also his movement was causing liverpool no end of problems. he was often dropping deep and collecting the ball with time to turm and liverpool were clearly struggling to deal with this.
I sometimes despair with the things i read on here. everything has to be black and white, so kenny missed a chance so he must be shit!

Gives 100% as a player. :ayatollah:

So what your saying is that if Rossco missed in Cup Finals then its not acceptable, but for Miller to miss the only 2 penalties he's taken for us all season is completely unacceptable? And if your using the "over a million" line saying thats how much Miller cost then at least get it right, it was 1 million EURO'S which worked out to be roughly £850k. Has he been worth that? COMPLETELY! How many strikers of Millers size do you know that can work a lone striker role and not only threaten goal but cause problems for defense and assist aswell?

You cant just single him out for poor treatment for missing a penalty, Rudy missed and Gerrard missed. It just wasnt our lucky day.

So Gerrard having the balls to take Liverpool's first was completely irrelevant when you look at because he missed it?
Miller has been unlucky with his chances this season, he's already had two dissallowed goals in the run up to the final alone. He gets plenty of shots on target but he is a striker that thrives on team play not just goal getting. Thats what makes him by far the best striker at our club at the moment.

There is no doubt that this will fire him and the team on to strive for promotion. Get behind the boys :ayatollah:

And I will blame Miller for that , Looking over how be blasted the ball over the net (which he does far too many times) to win the game outright , he missed yet another Pen .

Miller needs to do better at his finishing and I would imagine he'll be the 1st to admit that

Lets all keep this rant of yours in mind ready for when the next striker fluffs his chances.
Bet you never went crazy at Earnie when he was fluffing everything before scoring a very lucky 5 yard goal.
Bet you never went crazy at Jon Parkins inability to score full stop.
Bet you never went crazy at Warren Feeneys finishing ability.

Get off the players backs and let them deal with it themselves.
