Interestingly Dutch ray didnt want the job

If you believe that he didn't want the job then you are on cloud 9, I can assure you that the contacts I have inside the FAW tell me that he made himself available for the position on more than one occasion to the suits in the FAW corridors.

Well, perhaps you can ask your contacts within the FAW why he publicly called for a figurehead manager like Rush to be appointed then.

Given he was constantly making himself available, like.

Because he was already told he was not going to be given the job at that point. The FAW stated to him very early on that they wanted someone who already had management experience but thats not what the players and staff wanted as thier first choice was for somebody to step up within the group rather than an outsider coming in and making changes.

Really, were they?

What makes you think Dutch Ray wanted the manager job?

Do you believe the FAW should have done what Dutch Ray wanted, ie have a figurehead manager like Ian Rush?

Seriously?

Do you seriously have any respect for the man who played the "what Speed would have wanted" card within days of his death yet doesn't even have the respect for Speed to wait till after the Costa Rica game to quit?

Still, at least you're blaming people other than malaysians this time...

With Speeds family stated that he spoken a number of times about ending his life so how do you know that he hadn't stated that previously to members of his backroom staff..? 'If' he was so low as some stated then no-one knows what he said to people behind closed doors.

So early on he was told he wouldn't get the job, but repeatedly offered his services according to contacts. Whilst stating the opposite publicly.

I love clarity.

I also forgot that the players rule to roost over who gets appointed. I'd naively assumed we'd got past the days where players felt they were bigger than the nation.

Has there been any evidence Coleman would make massive changes? Has Osian Roberts, for example, been fired?

Indeed, has there been any claim Coleman would change things - other than from Dutch Ray?

Speed spoke to his family. That's FAMILY.

If you want to believe Speed magically told his assistants "Lads, if I kill myself, which may or may not happen, I want you to carry on, lobby for a figurehead coach like Ian Rush. If you want to say it's what I would have wanted, feel free to do so. And if you feel the need to quit before my memorial game, no problem with that whatsoever", then go for it.

Because after all, if you'd thought that point through, you'd be intimating Speed's assistants knew he was suicidal and failed to inform anyone who could have potentially helped.

The only person / group intimating Coleman will rip up everything Speed did is Dutch Ray.

The same Dutch Ray who stated "what Speed would have wanted" yet resigns before the Speed memorial match. If he wanted to resign, fine, no problem with that, but at least show Speed respect by remaining for that game.

As I keep saying, his tweets indicate an ego the size of a planet. Almost revels in Ajax injuries, using it as a way of validating his training methods.

We've no idea if he could even be a good manager. Good coach, sure, but so was Burton. Burton not much cop as a manager.

The entire coaching staff has to pull in the same direction with the same vision. When you've one admittedly good coach arguing his way is the only way, you've got a loose cannon in your staff.

Wouldn't bother anybody. Silly to expect someone with a massive business organisation to drop everything and focus solely upon CCFC.

A financially healthy and successful CCFC will aid Tan in making other moneys, opening markets etc. All parties benefit.

Why do people want that clown as a manager, if he was so good he would be at a good club now....strangely though, they all seem to get rid of him not too long after he's appointed to the staff........too much hype, not enough substance.
