I recall Jim Davidson on that celebrity cook program where he expressed his opinions about his belief of gays or more specifically homosexuality. He got slaughtered for it and was kicked off the program. What annoyed me about the program was that before he got kicked off he asked if he could leave, he was very uncomfortable with the situation, but the program makers refused his request. I thought refusing his request was disgusting specially when a few days later they gave him the push because of what he believed in.

It seems to me we are living in a society where you can't have an opinion on this subject. I don't accept homosexuality and I have my reasons. I don't look down on the gay community and I certainly don't cause it any concern. However I do feel that if you speak out against it you are looked down from society these days. The way it is going soon society will make it compulsory to be gay.

yep.i agree.i have no problems with gays/lesbians .i know gays and lesbians and consider some as my friends.fact is all anybody has to do in this country is to be tolerant.the way the media bang on if a straight person says anything slightly not pro gay is crazy.to tolerrate something does,t mean you have to like it or agree with it.lets be honest though it isn,t just gays its anything that isn,t in the majority.most of the people spouting off are self serving and getting a very good drink out of it.its an industry now like race is .do you remember the christian man who wouldn,t let the two gay fellows stay at his b and b in the same room as he didn,t agree with gay marriage?he got fined i believe.what happened to his human rights ?hasn,t he got the right not to want them in his place?

Seriously who cares, if you are gay there is no problem. Why should it matter in the context of football or anything else for that matter. This discussion shouldn't even exist as it shouldn't make a difference, you're sexual orientation should never come into question and no one should even care about it. If you are a quality player and even you aren't why should you care what a persons sexual preference is!?

My misses was watching something on telly a few weeks back about gay footballers, fashanu's sister was the presenter, think she was trying to find out if there was any in the game and why they won't come out.
