I think he's making a suggestion not demanding that people should avoid The Sun, must say I agree with him as ethically they have had their arses dragged through the gutter recently, the Mike Dye scenario was also an example of how low they will stoop for the sake of selling newspapers.

And all Newspapers have exactly the same ethos as the Sun. I read it for something to read if i want to know the news i watch Sky News or the ten o clock news.

Bullshit. Real newspapers don't, they print news. Tabloids have the same ethos as they have no ethos, they're there to influence the dumb and fill their minds with things that are not important.
Sky news is owned by basically the same people as the Sun.

Are you saying i am dumb ?????????? I read what i want to not what you tell me to.........tw*t

only if you believe what you read....you tell me!?

I believe that more than any post from you Chief

I'm afraid I've been reading RAWK again - I've virtually become a plastic the last couple of days!

Anyway, the Liverpool fans are pointing out that Sunday is the launch of the Sunday Sun and we all know why they despise it so much.

Someone on their board has actually drawn up quite a cool anti-Sun banner featuring Liverpool and Cardiff which also refers to the insensitive coverage of Mike Dye's death in that rag.

Have a look at the link, it's worth a look and an interesting idea.

Obviously I'm a Guardian reader anyway and would never touch The Sun...

I don't buy any newspapers! There all a load of shit and so yesterday!

look the newspapers write shit about people and families all the time. just because they wrote it about a cardiff fan who i never met now should mean i must stop reading it.

i will continue to read the sun and now i think i will purchase it a little more often.

I've never paid for a copy of the scum and I never will. It's no more than a f@cking comic for the mentally challenged that want to read about who's shagging who. Read what ever you want, no one can tell you what to read. It's on your conscience.

The pathetic apology, some of you need your heads slapped. I will NEVER buy a tabliod newspaper again and as for the people who just seem to be saying f**k you i'll read the sun if i want, id be more than happy to slap you in the face with the paper if I seen you down the city.

Same here, unbelievable some of the posts i've read. What they said about Mike Dye was an absolute disgrace and should be more than enough for Cardiff fans to never buy that paper again.

I will make sure I will be buying the 'Sun and Sunday' together with the other papers I buy because I like reading different opinions on a story. Anyway if I just wanted to buy one paper then no pressure group will tell me what to buy or not to buy.

All papers print bullshit and thats why they are loved in this country. However the total hypocrisy surrounding News International by some of its competitors is a disgrace. Even the Guardian was caught out about Malcure 'appranetly' listening to Millie Dowler's mobile phone. Yet somehow because its the Middle Class Guardian they are kept out of the limelight.

For once, i agree with you.

I wonder how many of the people that despise and boycott the Sun, actually have Sky TV....after all, same ownership. Do they boycott Sky??

Sky have the rights to the Carling Cup final, are you boycotting that??

That last line just sums you up, your a tw*t, trying wind it up a little more, 'I think I will purchase it a little more often' I new there were some wind ups on here but f**k me. You may not have known him but you would have been shocked and sadend by what happend ye? And then you would have read the scummy paper, seen the truth on here and most people would think that you would say, 'bloody hell how could a paper make a top bloke look like a scumbag when he was the one f*cking killed!!'

Ah I dont no what to say you clearly have issues

i really couldnt give a shit.
because some forum says "Dont buy the sun paper"
i should go, OH WELL SEEING AS THEY THINK I SHOULD STOP

call me a tw*t or whatever but i enjoy the read and will therefore continue my purchase.

the fact is, i did not know the man,
and yes i sympathise that it is a sad story a man died going to a football match.

however the papers always lie ect ect. that wont put me off reading it.

what if sky news had said the same story as the sun paper, would you all call me a tw*t for still watching sky tv.
because you have your views doesnt mean you can force others to follow them....(not a dictatorship)

The Scum has a target audience. That target audience they assume to be too stupid to know that what they publish is total lies.

They're also targeted towards uneducated racists but that's a moot point, the fact is the Scum is a disgrace to the name of journalism.

Whoever said "shouldn't the anger be directed towards the reporters" - not necessarily, you've got the editors like that ginger dragon Brooks and of course the Prize c*nt that is Murdoch. They're all part of the same News International "empire" of lies, deceit and disgusting behaviour, and they all deserve to rot. I can't explain how sickening the bunch of them really are.

Just... don't buy the Sun, that's all.

This sums it up better than I ever could... It's just pure ignorance that leads people to pay money for such dirge. No other excuse comes close.

How is it ignorance, i know exactly what the paper entails, its not the only paper i buy, i tend to get around 3/4 each day....like someone mentioned above, i like different angles on the current news.

I mentioned earlier, if you hate Murdoch so much, and this is for everybody.....do you all boycott Sky aswell as the Sun, do you refuse to watch TV programs/films that are done by FOX NETWORK in America????? who incidentally made Titanic, Avatar to name a few.
