The club never discloses how much it's bid but during the webchat with Malky, and during the phone in, he stated that the club had bids accepted then rejected several times.

As Bolton paid 3.2 million for Sordell and we know Blackpool never accepted the Phillips bid the only bids that could have been accepted are the Noone and Sordell bid.

If Bolton paid 3.2 we can't have bid much less otherwise Watford would never have accepted.

This is the time you need to bring in some good fresh blood. Livens the current players up & at the same time gives new guys a shot at playing & impressing.

This time last year we brought in Wayne Routledge, Danny Shittu, Chimbonda & Ishmael Miller. I can honestly say without those additions I'm not sure we'd of gone up. Routledge & Miller won us around 10 points with goals scored alone.

It can get stale at this time of year in a squad & an injection of new faces can work wonders.

Thats just it stan we have signed some kid who will warm the bench for the rest of the season and some other kid onloan thats are promotion push and now we have slipped down the league again it will only get worse as the weeks go on now the window has closed.Theres nobody else to blame but are club after all 3rd in the league was not the time so "when is a better time to push on",Thats where are clubs differ.
