If this clip doesn't get you all goey, slushy and excited, then you must be dead down below! ;) :D

It's good but lacks that xfactor (yes I am the Simon Cowell of AAMB  )

Maybe I just like a screamer
Celion Dion I think is the closest In my head, well for what I mean anyway.

IMO I will always love you is the ultimate song sang perfectly :)

Superb clip, but they don't get me as excited as Laura Pausini will in May! :D

I'm hoping that she'll have Michael Buble as one of her special guests with her, even though I saw him With the wife in Paris and Birmingham last year, as they bounce off each other really well! (Pardon the pun :) )

I wish I could find the original clip as the banter is quality.

I seen Sir Tom and CIA around the time of his reloaded album and he has Cerys Matthews and Kelly jones perform with him, it was top quality, brilliant especially as we didn't expect it.

I saw them in a Teenage cancer trust concert at the Albert Hall about 6 years ago, when they were supporting UB40 & Eric Clapton! I watched one track and as I'd taken my son who was only 11 or 12 at the time, I dragged him out of the concert after the first track, as every other word was fecking this or fecking that!

My son was pissed off, as he quite liked the tossers! :)

She's certainly quite talented as well, but not in the same league IMO, as the ones I mentioned earlier!

Got to go now sorry! :ayatollah:

Question is....
Has anyone ever had a better voice than her in her prime?

We couldn't come up with anyone close tbh.

Lots of entertainers with good voices who put on a show but for voice alone?

i saw whitney in her prime ive seen celine in vegas and i saw streisand live at the mgm grand and streisand is on a different planet altogether vocally. no backing singers just the voice and an orchestra but both whitney and celine make the hairs on your neck stand up.
a tragic waste of life and talent

As far as female voice is concerned perhaps I could throw either Kelly Clarkson or Hayley Westenra into the ring.

I met Hayley at Wembley a few years back. Her voice is so pure and versatile.

Kelly Clarkson, whilst more of a Rock Singer, can sing anything pretty much perfectly and in my opinion could match if not better Whitney Houston

The best female voice without doubt is eva cassidy, not that I'm a big fan of the old weepy ballads and all that :D
