This was my first ever City game my dad took me too, right in front of Dai Hunt in the Bob Bank which left me forever partially deaf. Look at the scoreline though, hard to believe I ever came back....but I loved that day and still have the flashbacks in my head.

Infected by their plastic fathers who have no pride and no values.

Correct-my kids are ccfc through and through despite being exiles :ayatollah:

So how many CCFC games do you get to in a season then. Not many is it.I seem to remember you visiting non league grounds in your area whilst CCFC are playing.

Not a plastic though eh!

When i was younger and i first started football training, i dont think any of us were actual cardiff fans. Maybe wrong but im pretty sure. Heck i had a arsenal shirt (not affraid to admit it). I dont know how i became arsenal, my perents were not football fans. Probably to much playstation  anyway. But one year we went to a tournement the same day as cardiff's playoff final v QPR. We were knocked out the first or second round, so we were just in time watch it in the club house. Obvioulsy we won that day. From then i had surported both teams. But for the last few years arsenal are really just nothing to me. All i want is them to win competitions cardiff are not in.

I just think maturity kicks in at some stange. And i think some kids sooner or later will change to cardiff surports. When i have kids now i dont want them to touch a arsenal or united shirt.

My life story now over
Dont care if i get called plastic or whatever, count myself as a cardiff fan, and go to games whenever i can. Love to be a st holder but cant at the minute.

Certainly no plastic mate and a few on here will vouch for that.

I normally get to 10-12 games a season inc local aways (Reading, Southampton etc..). Having 4 kids has curtailed my trips to the City as my middle boy plays on a saturday morning and also on Sundays.

I started watching CCFC in early 80s and lived in Cardiff until 89. Since then I have lived across the South of England.
I have watched CCFC approximately 400 times at home and visited 40 away grounds. I have been a season ticket holder and away member in this time.

I also love grass roots football and watch Salisbury City and until last season Andover FC (RIP).
