its got nothing to do with wales
i would love to see them go out of the league

i have seen the fuckers reach to top div twice and the same thing has happened , everyman and his his dog is a jack mainly plastics and egg chasers ( i have respect for the jacks who have stayed by their side not many tho) . they love to ram it down our necks but they will dissapear as soon as the novelty is gone

what city fan could ever wish swansea the best after what they done to our family enclosure at ninian

Oh fuckin please. i would rather wales not be on the map than those c.nuts representing us.

Like it or not, that's what they are doing. It will be great for Welsh football when we join them.

It'll only be a matter of time before we overtake them with our huge fan-base, so I can't see what there is to be worked up about.

If we are so concerned about welsh football we would both be playing in the Welsh league.

It's hardly worth pointing out that we haven't been in the top flight since my grandfather was walking about in shorts so I can't get to grips with what you are trying to say.

Yes there are some arseholes who support them and an even greater number who now pretend to who I f*cking dispise - but we have plenty of twats following us about to!

I've said it before but it must be the Scottish in me that sees things differently, my family moved to Swansea a good 30 years ago when I was a kid.

For a few years, I lived in Barry, met many Cardiff fans and always had a bit of banter and a bit of a laugh, never had a problem being a Jack living and working in Cardiff? Even watched your FA cup final in a pub in Cadoxton, had a good day...

Two Welsh teams in the Premier league would've been beyond either clubs wildest dreams about 10 years ago, I genuinely hope that you make it and we stay up...

I think this thread has two meanings.

1) From a footalling standpoint Swansea are where they are and deservedly so, playing great football in the premier league which can only be good for the welsh national team.

2) From an FV point of view (and I think thats what annoys a lot of people) you have never come across a bunch of people so blind to the truth in terms of where they stand. Never done anything of note. Firmly in the shadow of CCFC and given the fact that FV is now dead. Thats it.

I think people of our age gwyn have always seen bristol city as our biggest rivals and i have hated them since the aberfan chants at their place in the early 70's

I,m the same steve, when i first started following cardiff (1973 onwards) the peg boys were never our rivals due to them always playing down in the dungeons, i,ve always classed bristol city as our main rivals!!!!

I must say Gwyn that although the Bluebird in my wants them to lose every game, I can't change the habits of a lifetime overnight can I  , I think they are doing really well.

I like Brendan Rodgers he has developed a real affinity with the Jack fans and his team well what do you say. I watched their game against Arsenal I even the most diehard Bluebird fan would have to admit they were superb against them. More than that they gave Arsenal and Wenger a lesson in how to play football.

Right now the Swans are light years ahead of the majority of teams in footballing terms, at home, but away their not the same but thats their only weakness. But respect to Brendan and his team and if they survive this season they will do so fully on merit.

Still love them to crash and burn mind. ;) :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Could n't give a toss about the jacks. They spend all their time worrying about us, the best thing we could do is totally ignore the insignificant tossers, it winds them up even more.

The OTT footballing clichés are killing me. They went up via the playoffs, they didn't storm the league, they got lucky (We were not unlucky, just very fragile mentally)

They are not out of the relegation fight, if they were BR would n't have bottled it for last weeks FA cup selection. Their brand of footballer is very defensive and boring.

i agree gwyn, like every city supporter i always dreamed of seeing cardiff in the top division but never ever thought that there would be a chance to play the jacks IN the premier....hope it happens. :ayatollah:

Seriously? I think your hatred is clouding your judgment. Even if it's not your style of football, it looks as though it's going to easily keep them in the league.

It's hard for some, being a City fan when they are getting all the plaudits. Hopefully we will join them next season - if so it'll be great for Welsh football

Re: IS IT JUST ME THAT FEELS DIFFERENTLY ABOUT THE JACKS

I don't get why people keep saying it's good for welsh football. There are like four welsh players in the Swansea squad and only one of them is a first choice Wales player. Most of the Welsh team players play for various clubs throughout the championship.

It's also not as if the academies benefit because Welsh players would always want to sign for Cardiff and Swansea regardless if they're in the prem or in the conference. They'll also always want to sign for Man U, Man City Arsenal etc because of the higher wages and profile.
