I was not around when all the "controversy" with Carl's updates began. I have been on the boards for a few months and have really enjoyed all the banter and learning about the sport and the club.

I have read everything Carl has put out since the start of the season and there was at no point where he garaunteed anything. He only gave the fans what we wanted, information, and hope!

There are times that in the end things did not work out, the last two windows have come and gone....Carl passed on accurate information. I do not understand how anyone thinks Carl is doing anything wrong.

This makes no sense to me.

There are a few people on this forum who post information on the goings on at our club, some are right and some are wrong, a lot of things change in football we all know that but why some people come on this forum and have a go at others if they release information that doesn't come to fruition I can't understand. At the end of the day Carl's updates make for a good and interesting read and are very informative, Carl and Annis also act as a link between the club and its fans and do release other information to this forum which most people on here do read and enjoy, so a message to Carl, Annis and other posters who want to share information about players, club deals etc. keep up the good work and don't let the "arseholes" put you off after all they're just a minority

Carl tries his very best to give us accurate information and for people to criticise that is wrong.

A lot of us make predictions, try to second guess and add weight behind a "story" but I honestly think that Carl gives us a possible view of events that we do not have access to.

Personally i do not see what he got wrong anyway. Everything he said turned out to be true. All that didnt happen was that the deals were completed. All Carl did was keep us informed of everything that was going on to try to close those deals.
I for one love the fact that we get that level of detail on here because of Carls connections.
It made for a very exciting few nights for me wondering if we would close the deals or not.

I for one hope that this level of information keeps on coming.
