I really think it's Noone, the bid has been accepted but personal talks wont continue tonight because Noone was at the Brighton game, he said on Twitter earlier he was at the AMEX :ayatollah:

Carl, any truth in claims that one of Malky's men may have been scouting Airdrie United's Ryan Donnelly today?

That's isn't a judgement we can make with the information we have. I know this is not the case but I'll use hyperbole to illustrate my point clearly. If the target was Tevez and we missed out then that does not show the board are not backing Malky it simply means the player's demands are too far away from what the club can realistically afford. That isn't lacking ambition that's sensible planning. If we did spend all that money on Tevez then that would just be frivolous. However if we are talking of a low transfer fee and modest wages then you may have a point. However we can not make that judgement yet.

I too, have been asking myself all the above, "BUT" its different now, because we have a great manager who pays attention to detail, and will get what he wants for the good of the team and CCFC.

if its not to be, so be it. IN MALKY WE TRUST. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I think Carl has told us all he can on this matter, thank you Carl. :ayatollah: We all know in today's climate it isn't just transfer fees and wages that cause the deal to stall, there is of course sell on clauses and a bag full of other stuff the agent, player and both clubs need to discuss so it isn't like the old days there is a lot of shit to get through, the players are business men these days so they are going to fight for the best deal possible.....We are not exempt unfortunately.....Every little thing's gonna be alright I say :ayatollah:

Cheers Carl! My strong belief, as I've shared with Annis, is that the board have a pathway. They didn't invest heavily in the summer as they probably felt (and justifiably so) that the team would take time to gel and perform so why make an astronomical investment then. In effect it could be throwing good money after bad. I've felt that once the team had settled and now based on performance that they will invest significantly over this transfer window to build on the solid foundations that have been laid over the past few month. Malky, VT and TG have built wisely and sensily so far and I believe it will continue and that we could see more significant investment now the reparations have been done to the decimation of the squad from last season.

p.s. now pm me the names of those two players!!!! ;)

Or more likely, his agent is just being ............his agent and trying us out!
I would like to bet that however big the money pot is Malky is driving a hard bargain as well, he is obviously a shrewd negotiator.
