On the same subject to of 'credit where its due'. Not one of the Swansea fans who post on here has given US any credit for our good work this season, as a whole our fans have been far more generous toward you than you have back (the jacks on CCMB are on the wole far more even-handed).

you have the worst away record in the premier league so whilst you are solid at home i dont really think you are giving the teams you play away to much of a hard time.

20-1? 10-3 more like it and they chucked the kitchen sink at us late on. I was there that day and the Liverpool fans were raving about us and even the Kop gave us applause!

I think you should check your recent results against top flight opposition of recent years (Liverpool, VIlla, Spurs, Chelsea and Arsenal) before throwing stones at us.

And where have I posted/been untoward your style of play on here? I think Malkay is doing a great job, but I feel he needs 3-4 players in because your squad is quite thin. At the business end of the season he will need to rest players and rotate the team so he will need to strengthen. Brendan did this against Villa, we were all dismayed at the line up but it worked as we played a lot of games over xmas and the Everton and QPR games showed that he needed to freshen things up, that's very good management, I feel Malky may have to do the same at some point.

Wingers would be a priority for you and a big strong box to box midfielder

Thats an improvement.

Interesting you mention those clubs..

lets compare.

Villa - we lost away (very narrowly) - you won.

But the others... both lost away to Chelsea, away to Arsenal... then we drew at home to Arsenal and Spurs, wheras you edged that by beating Arsenal... then away we lost 2-1 to Liverpool and you drew. So we didn't really disgrace ourselve.

However THIS season we did manage to beat Blackburn ...


As for Liverpool yes 20-1 was a bit OTT, but even at 10-3 you can hardly say that you 'should have won'

The applause may be nice, but its the plucky underdog shit that the little guys get in the cups. I'd rather the 3 points.


What you say about us is pretty much what we all recognise too - a few injuries would hurt us (as would injuries to Vorm and Willimas, Taylor, Graham and maybe if long-term Rangel for you) as the cover is a step down, and we are short of pace and attacking options.
