I'll agree with you on the last 15 minutes of normal time, but to be fair they've gone through 120 minutes of Football, when's the last time Swansea's got anywhere in a major cup?

You supporters of lower league teams might think the carling cup is "major", but us big boys of the premier league know better.

tell that to mr dalglish or mancini! chelsea also fielded a full strength side in the round that liverpool knocked them out. most clubs now realize that winning any cup will keep their manager in a job a little longer..

tell me something , what was it like to watch around 30 shots on goal, because i doubt you'll manage that all season unless u shoot from your own half!

You want to explain that concept to your manager and players, who managed not a single goal in 120 god awful minutes of "football". Just for the record, the swans have scored 9 goals in their last 4 games. All that whilst playing "the beautiful game". A world away from the direct hoofball dross that CCFC dishes out week after week. I pray to god you never make it to the promised land playing that long ball style of football. We don't want another stoke city in the premiership thank you very much. :)

Like I said, us big hitters in the premier league don't really see the carling cup as a serious competition. It's a tinpot cup for lower league wannabe's, and occasionally a big club like liverpool or man city will accidentally stumble their way through to the final.

Jealous and bitter about what exactly? Obviously not your lower league status, and it's not like you've won anything, and it's not like you're going to win anything. It'll all end in Cardiff tears all over the wembley pitch and terraces. At least you should be used to it by now.

1 good or bad result doesn't change the ethos or footballing philosophies of a club. Lets not forget which tier of football each of our respective clubs are plying their trade shall we? Ask yourself again.. Which style is not only more pleasing on the eye, but is proven to be more successful.. Cardiff Hoofball, or playing the beautiful game "the Swansea way"?

How can a team score 9 goals in their last 4 outings if they only play in their own half?

the one goal you scored v arsenal was straight from the restart so technically you we already in their half! passed it about abit, got a nose bleed as you we in their half quickly stuck it into their net and got back to your own half as quick as possible! ;)

Fair play, we've caught a whopper here. We battered Palace with a patient build up, intricate passing movements whilst creating 30 chances. If you still think we play"hoofball"you must be particulary stupid, although being a jack you get a pass for that. You lot have won one away all season and have beaten one decent side at home. You haven't had a blip yet but it'll come soon enough where you'll lose 3 or 4 on the spin. It's inevitable. Then we'll see how many of those simpleton journalists who jumped on the"Swanselona"bandwagon run for cover. You're not half as good a side as you think you are but even your demented boss has started to believe the ridiculous hype, because that's all it is, whilst Wales number one stroll into yet another major final and next tuesday will be in an automatic spot. Two things there that you'll NEVER see. Enjoy your status as the best passing side in the universe who will soon be fighting relegation whilst we'll enjoy the best club in Wales with the best fanbase, manager and the biggest future. Try not to be so bitter. You'll get at least 18,000 for Chelsea next week :-)

When you get relegated, whether it's this season, the season after or even the one after that you'll see how big you really are.

Stop clutching at straws. I hope you've enjoyed your tin pot cup run coz you'll probably bottle it at wembley as per usual. At least try and play a bit of football in the final. Nicking it on penalties against a piss poor 10 man palace side hasn't exactly endeared you to the neutral football fan, given the 120 dreary minutes of hoofball that was on display previous to the shoot out.
