Ronnie Moore or Gary Stevens
What a crock of shite that partnership was.
In all seriousness, Jeff Hemmerman is my choice as best striker, only here for a couple of seasons but he knew where the back of the net was.

1 John Toshack
2 Rob Earnshaw ( 1st spell)
3 Brian clark

That would be my choice Brian Clarke.

The best in my mind Phil Stant apart from when he went to piss on my programme and Paul Miller drunk half my pint before a game at aberstywth

In all honesty I loved most of the players mentioned in this topic, Obviously I wasn't old enough to remember Trevor Ford and the likes, but the ones I do remember all had Their part to play in Cardiff City's history, among My favourites Stanty /'Blakey' Hemmerman, Gilligan Bartlett, But for Me Adrian Alston and Tony Evans will always be special . But Earnie in My opinion is Top Dog!

I'm staggered. No one has mentioned Brian Clarke!!! Has to be well up there with the best of them. Too young to have seen Trevor Ford but my dad tells a good story or two about him. An absolute beast apparently.

Peter Cushion did it for me

My father refereed that game, came across the programme (piece of folded A4) the other day, I was there also, only a nipper mind, can't remember much about it.

Hemmerman and Bob Hatton- How old was Hatton when he signed for us. I must have been 13 or 14 and he looked like my gramp.
Carl Dale was a premiership (in today's parlance) striker, shame about the injuries.

robert earnshaw , his record for city speaks for it's self, others may of achieve greater things before or after they played for us but in a city shirt it's earnie
Fri Jan 20, 2012 9:54 pm
Graham Moore.

Carl Dale for me. He was strong, fast, could bang them in from anywhere
and was also shit hot in the air considering his height. Also like Chopra, he
would run chase and harry defenders until City got the ball back tats why I
put him just above Earnie. At the time his knees packed in he was being
sniffed around by a few top flight clubs. Who knows eh? Quality

Dave,
I did think of Dale, but then I thought well Earnie has done it in more divisions and with City.
