Who cares? Stop creaming over Swansea and let's concentrate on supporting OUR team, who are currently 3rd in the league, one game away from a Carling Cup final and are doing better than Swansea were doing at this time last season.

An impressive performance by the Jacks and a fully deserved win. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

CB, take away the neighbourhood thing and we would be glorifying them.

My question is how can it last unless they do something about expansion? BR is doing a great job with what other managers set up, but he will be poached by a bigger club at some point. Same with some of the players there, money talks! 20k maximum, will not establish you as a prem team.

Can the Town look for bigger things as its there for them!!!

The simple answer is they can't sustain long term Premier League football. They deserve their 15 mins of fame but they will soon be back playing Hull, Reading, Burnley and the others who have trudged the same path but couldn't sustain it because those teams at heart are small and will always remain small.

One swallow doesn't make a summer and come this summer Sinclair and Rogers for certain will be gone and the rot will set in.

As someone said it's a football forum so I make no apology for starting a football thread.

I wish Dyer and Graham qualified for Wales. Just what we need for the national team.

I'm glad that Williams, Taylor and Allen are getting Premiership game time for them as it can only make Wales stronger.

I hope we join them next season though cos I can't take another season of them there and not us.

Wigan could be described as a "small club" but how long have they been in the Prem now?

This thread is internet gold

We all really thought we'd beat Arsenal today and did. This is how far we've come as a club.

Who was it who said we'd only win 6 games all season and be relegated?!?

Normally agree with you Tony but I don't think you are right here. Look at Stoke. They stayed up and then pushed on. Jacks could easily do that. Hull and Reading are no smaller a club than we are.

Grow up polo. Bellamy could play up top or I believe it has been mentioned he might be retiring. Bale could revert to his natural position on the left and dyer right.
