Hes a cart horse always has been always will be,the board are spending no money this window and we had some shit players who didnt perform vs palace on tuesday look around the forum its not just me who thought that, whats wrong with that theres ups and downs in football,If i said we had 10million to spend this window and every player got a rating of 9 out of 10 on tuesday then would that make you feel better even though i would be telling porkies

Two year extension, good news. But I would imaging he's probably on less monthly, but with an extra two years security. So I would say its a good deal all round.
It also shows the new team spirit under Malky, no one running their contract down like previous years.

Great news. I also think its now't to do with me what his new contract is worth. For what it's worth. I like Hudson. One of the best CB in this division.

mm has said that he is a role model off the pitch for all.... his attitude, work rate in training, how he physically looks after himself and the way he speaks to the lads is second to none...

i believe he was def worth keeping ... he always gives 110% every cb makes mistakes on the field.. even the likes of vidic, jones, terry etc...

i think this season he has done well.. and always puts his body on the line... he just lacks pace...

Re: Hudson signs two year extension

It maybe wise to get extensions with Tom Heaton and David Marshall, as good goalkeepers are hard to find. We havent had a decent pairing for a long time, which has cost us countless times over the seasons.

We wont want to make another mistake like we did with Neil Alexander.

Whats your opinions on this fellow bluebirds? :ayatollah:

Have you see him play? I've seen nothing of him at all.

Heaton and Marshall I would certainly re-sign, both very good keepers

I'm not that keen on Parish atm, seen him play for our development game against llanelli at the beginning of the season.....bit raw and he did make some cracking saves, but his distribution is quite poor, I would say 60/40 it would end up with the opposition. But he his someone we could develop. Hence he's our 3rd choice, something we havent had for some time, and probably appropriate to have, considering the goal keeping issues of last season.

Even if we give an extension with Heaton, we could still have a bargaining edge with other clubs when it comes to transfers, rather than have 6 months left on contract and have bugger all. Look at the players we lost last season because of it.

Whilst Marshall is number 1, Heaton is a very good back up.....imagine if Marshall was fit last season, and Heaton stood in for cover, we would have been promoted. Injuries cost us last season, and Heaton shouldnt have been playing in April, which made his groin injury worse, and cost us promotion. Bad man management on DJ's part.

It's only two years though, I'm sure his experience and influence can have an impact if we go up.

He's not a City player, he's on loan to them from some Romanian club.

Luke,

I only just rate him for this division, but he is a trier/battler, but makes a lot of mistakes.

IMO he is for this season our best CB but turner has the massive potential, the other CB,s ain't good enough.

He isn't a prem player, useful back but his leadership would be massive if we made the prem.
At his age I doubt he would take a one year deal so I think its about right assuming he had taken a drop in wages

If fans going to slate their on players then bugger off e should fully support every player at this club even if they ent cut out at this level. basically not a fan if you slate your own player of the team you love :ayatollah:

I think Huds has developed into a really good championship centre-back over the last few seasons. The first season he was here, I didn't think he was great but this season he has been a rock!

He is quality in the air defensively and Malky seems to say he has a brilliant attitude and he is a great leader for the club.

My only concern with Huds is, I don't feel that comfortable when the ball is at his feet. But that will improve under Malky! :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:
