And of course, QPR may have to put up with a hypocrite as manager.

Aside from being as limited tactically as Dave Jones, I recall Hughes whinging like a bitch about Mancini being lined up to replace him at Man CIty. If he goes to QPR, there's zero doubt it was lined up before Colin Wanker left by "mutual consent".

Least our Malaysian owners seem to have a bit more about them than Fernandes.

He is in touch with the fans absolutely nothing wrong with that & personally I find it quite refreshing. I had the pleasure of a good 20 min chat with him in the players lounge at QPR & his phone was beeping I'd wow you are busy he said that's people tweeting me asking about the club & targets etc & went onto say he spends at least an hour a day answering tweets, fans concerns & questions because its good to be in touch with the fans & totally agree.

Warnock had his chance & unfortunately he never took it. Great manager just out of his depth at the top level.

So you think what he done last night was ok?

What that he tweeted 'driving back to London, lots to think about' etc etc

What's wrong with that?

Fernandes has put significant funds into QPR & a new training ground complex has been sactioned, next step new ground. Why would he wait any longer? We were in freefall & a change had to happen. Our form was shit, our tactics were a joke & Warnocks team selections & substitutions were baffling to say the least & I'm a fan!!

Its a results based business & staying up is priority. Thank you Neil but goodbye.

And who will magically change it all? Mourinho?

Confident in Fernandes, West Ham fan, picking the right manager?

Least our Malaysian owners seem to have more sense, ability in the way they are running us.

And they sure as hell don't run [insert social media of choice] every time they fart.

Its a shame he wasnt given more time because the championship is a very difficult league to get out of and warnock brought the pride back to QPR but stans right its a results buisness and loyalty counts for nothing in fooball especially with a mega rich owner

A mega rich ( but nowhere near as rich as our owners ) owner, who supports a rival club in London, who tried to buy said rival, who is a social media junkie/whore.

Colin Wanker is, well, a wanker, but let's be blunt, if Mr West Ham fan believes Mark freaking Hughes is the answer, well, the only appointment more appropriate to such a small club would have been Dave Jones...

QPR Sack Warnock...

Sun Jan 08, 2012 7:40 pm

Queens park rangers have sacked there manager Neil Warnock.

Please give the job to Dave Jones and get him off our wage bill. Then we would possibly have more cash for some signings.

Here's hoping...

Perfect timing mate. We were in free-fall & his tactics were shocking.

New man will have 3 weeks of the transfer window to get people in. Any later & we would of been fucked.

A lot of shit behind the scenes have not helped him from his own people & its a results business.

Gutted though. Brought some great times to QPR.

Stan, I was saying this last season about our place. Unfortunately for us we were not in freefall, we were 2nd or in a place off place. However some of us saw what was going to happen and I prayed someone up in the boardroom would do what your man has done today. It was this time last year we bottled it.

Re: WARNOCK SACKED

The new breed of football is bringing about a connection with social networking as is everything else going in modern times. If you notice, all companies etc have Facebook pages, Twitters etc. Even Cardiff uses Facebook and it has a Media Editor. A perfect example to how this is being done is Manchester City. They run a very active Facebook, Twitter and Youtube account to keep in touch with the fans and let them know what's going on.

Modern day football with the fans now is all about accessibility and what Tony Fernandes is doing, is making a step towards this. Would you prefer an owner who actually gave a shit about what the fans said, took on board their feelings and their wants? Or would you rather some foreign owners who stay in a different country only ever getting involved when the club screams loud enough for attention?

I credit Tony Fernandes, sure many might say openly criticizing Warnocks reliability on Twitter was wrong - but frankly it would've come out in a report as a rumour regardless? Coming from the owner of the club I think it is better rather than the indignity of the Sun Newspaper.

Even when that owner is a self confessed fan of ANOTHER team? A team he tried to buy before investing in QPR?

Who then issues cringeworthy tweets?

In his case, it's far better to remain silent than confirm he's a fool.

EDIT:

And the simple answer is, official QPR news, release via QPR PR statement, QPR official statement.

Fernandes wants to be the centre of attention, with hordes of adoring QPR fans hanging on his every word. And conveniently forgetting he supports West Ham.

Warnock gone....

No surprise (there was talk BEFORE the season even started) BUT it is IMHO a huge shame!!

A bit of a character. Always had a good relationship (banterwise) with the Mighty Bluebirds (even after the infamous Sheffield United game where Roger Johnson was assaulted with intent) and always had good things to say about the atmosphere at our stadiums

I didn't think he was doing such a bad job and it's not so long ago he was being touted as OUR next manager

Good luck for your future Neil :ayatollah:

Do you think Malky Mackay supports Cardiff City?
Bellamy played for us and he supports Liverpool?

The fact of the matter is that he is dedicated to QPR and he looks to be there for long haul with this new facility and piling funds into QPR?

If 100 football fans were asked "who is vincent tan"...

It would be a pointless answer, Richard Osmond would say
"well done any of you at home if you got that one!"

...and you'd walk away with the jackpot :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

I like low profile. Keep up the good work Vinnie!!!
