Why do you assume i dont have a real job
do you think stewarding is the only thing i do, bless you how cute
and i think ethics is probably the worst word you could ever use to describe you companies policy
now i understand the need to have a workforce who understands English but to assume straight away that you cant employ an immigrant because well obviously they English will be non-existent is idiotic
or are you one of those idiots who uses an innocent company policy and uses it for their own idiotic xenophobic and racist needs

Nothing wrong with looking after the local community.
We sponser local junior teams, youth ventures, childrens charitied. etc.
If more companies took the same stance instead of lining their pockets
employing cheap immigrants the country would be a better place.

The fact youve got to go to the job centre because you havent got a job, thanks largly to the mass immigration into this country.
as the guy said, im sure when his great grandad went to war to give his family a better life then he didnt take into account sponging fecking immigrants desending on this country.
Makes me sick.

I'm not usually a defender of mass immigration, but in this case the fella obviously has a job and therefore is paying tax and NI. Hard to see how he could be classed as a sponging immigrant.
My company has a strict no immigrant policy

I'm not not sure if this is your genuine opinion, or if your just fishing for bait, but either way, your posts are quite funny.
Looking at a few of your posts in this thread, you state that your company do not employ immigrants who cannot speak English or take instruction, which makes sense (well the latter part does), but I'm sure the company's policy doesn't have the 'immigrants' part included.
For example, which would your company prefer to employ:
1: A local man that didn't bother going to school, couldn't read or write, who was unable to take instruction, or
2: An Eastern European who speaks English very well and has demonstrated excellent skills and has the ability to both read and write English as well as take instruction
I know who I'd rather employ.
I do agree that immigration has spiralled out of control and think it's commendable that your company works within the community and looks after the people who live in the community, but they wouldn't be a good company if they just employed local people, rather than the best people for the job.
Truth is, the best person might be from a foreign place. However, if this foreigner was from Swansea, I'd probably just employ the local person (that's a joke).

Polo, you are SERIOUSLY having a laugh here!!![]()
Spongeing immigrants??
I know far more spongeing Brits than I know immigrants (even if you want to be pedantic and talk about percentages of population etc.)
Have worked with several Poles in my own line of work and they are prety hard working compared to SOME locals
The difference?? The Poles (and most other foreign nationals) don't BELIEVE the world OWES them a living like the Brits do and their work ethic reflects that!!
As for the 'Pole in the Job Centre' comment?? Again, why should that be an issue in a free-moving EU?? He MUST have been considered GOOD ENOUGH for the job (possibly above other 'locals' that applied)
And as for the 'my great grandad went to war" stuff, I think you will find that MOST of us (including said Poles) had family that went to and died in that particular war (and others since) in order to protect the FREEDOM and DEOMOCRACY that we STILL enjoy today. A short history lesson will show you how WE (the Brits) almost sold them down the river too!!
Simple question to end: Would YOU take the same stance if YOU were moving to a foreign country and were looking for employment yourself?? Somehow, I doubt it....
JUST THINK ABOUT IT FOR A MINUTE ;)
