You can always stay at home if you don't like it?
Mon Jan 02, 2012 9:11 pm
Good atmosphere for the most part today but to be honest i didnt even notice there was a drum from 117! I'm all for it though, anything that helps even a little bit is good by me!
Mon Jan 02, 2012 9:15 pm
YES.

It's good in a way that people don't like it, quite a few people want to join us in the Ninian because they couldn't stand it today, so there will be more singers in the Ninian hopefully.

The drum has definitely got to stay, someone needs to teach Vince how to use it properly though.

not missed more than 4 games in years pal not stayin away cos of a fuckin drum!!!!!

Well it was out of the way and it didnt annoy anyway and it was brilliant to be fair.
Think the atomsphere was a lot lively and the drum added a massive boost. Everyone agrees the atomsphere was great so stick with it. Everyone complains about the atomsphere so if drums are the way to improve it then so do it anything to get the stadium buzzing!

If it gets the Canton end rocking i'm all for it.
Mon Jan 02, 2012 9:43 pm
yes, improved the atmosphere in the canton

What has it come to when the famous Cardiff City needs a fooking drum to get the atmosphere going. Its a sad sad sad day today when it has finally come to this. Back at Ninian Park those drum sticks would of been inserted up there Arse and if that did not work the Drum would of been placed over their head.
Shall i bring a guitar, Annis a trombone, Carl bring a tamberine, Marc a flute, And Bomber a fooking Banjo

Everyone keeps moaning about the atmosphere being flat. The drummer helped keep it going today. A little over-used on times, but a good idea.
Yes from me

I understand completely what ur saying. Ninian Park didn't need it. But the CCS atmosphere has been awful. We have a lot of different fans now. An awful lot of guys I used to go with just don't do football anymore. We need something to galvanise the new generation of all seater supporter with us older guard. Maybe this drum thing could be the kick start the CCS needed.

I dont get half of you lot tbh! You moan the atmosphere is dismal and now we take a stepping stone to improve it you still mosh ffs! Keep the drum it improved the atmosphere and it's vibes transferd to the pitch to spur the players on
Mon Jan 02, 2012 10:54 pm
A big NO from me!!
Just makes us look shit if we need a drum to get an atmosphere!!!
Always thought that when travelling away.
Mon Jan 02, 2012 10:57 pm
Well in the Ninian we heard the fooking drum all afternoon but we didnt hear any Welsh voices singing though
Mon Jan 02, 2012 10:59 pm
Rather listen to the drum, it drowns out some of the fans who think they now abit about football and like to tell everyfucking player what to do....
but know jackshit.
Mon Jan 02, 2012 11:17 pm
YES
Mon Jan 02, 2012 11:20 pm
Keep the drums. I felt they helped the atmosphere. Keep them going please.
Mon Jan 02, 2012 11:36 pm
Why do people keep saying "drums"? There was only one drum.
Tue Jan 03, 2012 12:53 am
TBH I believe the drum ( and i say this very lightly) can be used in a positive way, ONLY if the guy operating knows what the f**k he is doing, at times today he was just banging it like a wild monkey for the sake of it.
good effort tho

100% keep the drum if it will improve the atmosphere and I believe it will! If we could get a band that would be great too!
Tue Jan 03, 2012 7:29 am
I could hear the drum clearly from 202 in the Grandstand.
Best atmosphere we have had there this season IMHO.
Also seemed to get the Canton Choir going. The "only got one shoe" was a cracker.
I'm all for it.
KEEP THE DRUM!!!!!!
Fair play to the drummer. OK, he appeared to be a bit rusty but I have no doubt he'll get better with practice (bit like Darcy). It was, after all, his first game of the season.
Tue Jan 03, 2012 8:21 am
Drum needs to stay.....as for saying we didnt need it at NP, load of rubbish, NP was dead as a dodo unless it was a big game, some of you guys should take the old lady's glasses off and remember what NP was like 99% of the time! during big games it was second to none, rest of the time it was utter gash.
Tue Jan 03, 2012 8:29 am
Good idea if used sensibly
Glad it's not above me though as it can get iritating if used constantly
Know a few people who moved to the Ninian because of it yesterday!!

Oh my god now a drum is winning games for us!
