I reckon if Mackay can find a replacement first, then he'll accept anything from £4m above. I imagine we would possibly get someone on loan like Francis Coquelin from Arsenal. However, if we can't find a replacement then we won't sell.

I'd call this an official 'hands off' from Malky:

That article is bullshit as MM has said the club has had a phone call, no offer, a phone call and they have been told to f**k off. West Ham did the same with Jordan Rhodes at Huddersfield where they made a phone call with no offer attached and were told he was not for sale.

This is Fat Sam and the Porno Kings with a hard on because the Transfer window is about to open and they want to be on Sky Sports News every day. They haven't realised yet that Sky will be parked outside the Spurs training ground talking to Redknapp each day.

Whitts will be here after the window closes I have absolutely no doubt about that. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

It's no rumour, there was an official bid, but it's been turned down.

West Ham have been told to feck off in no uncertain terms. Why would a cultured player like Whits want to go to a Sam Allardyce hoofball team?   They were told the same about Jordan Rhodes

Re: " WESTHAM WANT WHITTINGHAM "

us fans are supporting the club better and better each year and if they sell whits now then that is sending out a clear message to us.

If we sell him then the ambition of the board we all support will be lost and the message will be clear.

We have to maintain are direction and stay on course to try and get promotion.Whits is a player we need in order for us to achieve that promotion.

Keep him and add a few more and we will all be happy anything other than that is not good enough.

If it was Tottenham or somebody like that, then fair enough. Premier League straight away. Even back to the Villa, fair enough. But another Championship club?

If we did start to sell our best, and longest serving players now, then we can look at mid table at best, bottom half probably, and League 1 at worst.

But I would be very surprised, and disappointed, if Whitts went to West Ham. Decent club, but really nothing special.

The papers will be full of this stuff for the next month, most of it made up by tabloid hacks.

The Sun tell the truth Annis it's never going to happen.

A call was made and the question was asked if Whitts is for sale and they were told no. So where the £3m bid comes from anyone guess.

I think the word is embellishment or as it's the Sun telling porkies. :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Well done Malky.

Tell the Penarth Porno King to f**k right off. I'm getting very tired of Dai Topshelf and his pig ugly sidekicks Gold and Brady trying to buy all our best players.

They did it when they were in charge at Birmingham and they're trying to do it again now.

It's by no means guaranteed that West Ham will go straight back up and whilst I could certainly understand Whitts moving to a mid table premiership side, why go to West Ham, bunch of cockney wankers as they are.

Stay here Pete - you know that at Cardiff you can do what you want!

Funny how people are claiming 3m is an insult when just a few months ago people would drive him to forest for 1m.
The other funny one everyone was harping on about was offering Witts + 1m for McGugan  How times change

But for all we know malky has made it clear to the board that under no circumstances is whitts to be sold, unless a stupid offer came in for him, which would be a shite site more than 3m

But the club is skint

Skint....in what way are the club skint? can we not afford to pay the bills? HMRC? can we not afford to pay the staff?

If by skint you mean the club doesnt have any money for further transfers then thats fine, we wont. Doesnt mean we are skint just sensible.

Getting rid of Whitts will show a massive lack of ambition. I trust Malky will make the right decision.

strange statement.

Bills getting paid, grow lights, new squad, in a play-off position, Club telling West Ham to f**k off,
City of London remarking on how well the Club is being run. Malky obviously hard at it trying to get
new players in, they wont come here for nothing

Define skint.

If the owners are putting their own money every month then that means there's no money left within the business meaning that the club/business is skint

Fair enough.

We are in the same position as around 85 of the 92 Clubs
in the leagues though. Whats your problem with Cardiff City FC?

I dont trust the Malaysians thats all, you obviously dont like my opinion but thats fine with me.[/quote]

For once in your life, could you give us an example of the Malaysians doing something
underhand since they've been here. One example. Just one. Put some substance into
your opinion.

I walked down the road earlier, passed a lad who we all know sells cocaine. I know him, he's
not really a mate, but we had a 'hello, how are you, hows things'... i was in school with him.
.... That doesnt make me a drug dealer, people wont start pointing fingers. So please dont
use the 'Dispatches' example of Vincent Tan speaking to a shady bloke. Nobody is buying it.

Substance. Please?

You just said yourself above the Malaysians are putting in money every month to cover the clubs debts because we are skint yet you constantly have a dig at them about not spending in January  to me this makes no sense at all.

Nor to him. Or he'd explain himself.

Anyway, the Malaysians will be gone in the summer. He knows things see ;)
