People forget what Midfield we have? Dobbie would be play around Whittingham, Gunnarsson, Cowie!

Id take Dobbie! He got 10/11 goals last season including play offs and got a decent strike! :ayatollah:

Only Vorm, Graham, Dyer, Sinclair & Routledge from your outfit would fit in our current team. 4 out of 5 starters but thats only because we have no pace on the wings and lacking a target man. And Vorm has been your saving grace this year, without him you could easily be in the bottom 3.

As Polo says, Ashley Williams would walk into your team.

As would Caulker who although not ours as such, is still ours for this year and would walk into your team (He'll be in the Spurs first team next year).

And Joe Allen, who has set the Premier League alight and is currently linked with a move to Liverpool wouldn't get in your side? Bizarre. Also Neil Taylor is arguably the best young left back in the country. But hey, he wouldn't get in your side

Neither would Leon Britton apparently. You know, the guy with in the top 5 in Europe for pass completion. Granted he doesn't do much attacking wise but that's not his job. I suppose makelele wouldn't have got in your side either

And then there is Mark Gower. The guy who is in the top 5 for chances created in the top leagues in europe. Not good enough for you though.

I seriously woouldnt replace any of our current first 11 with any apart from the ones I already mentioned.

Im not surprised with what you said about Britton, anyone of your back 4 could easily get in the top 4 of passes completed. You said it yourself that he does do much going forward. I guess Britton just sits in front of the back 4 passing back all day long.

No, he breaks up play and then plays it simple. Something every team needs and he excels at it.

As for your comment about not replacing the other players, you do realise that the players I mentioned are doing superbly against the best players in the world?

Andy Legg and Jason Bowen. Two "Jack Cnuts" who crossed the divide and did well for us. Legg become hero worshipped by the fans.

I am aware of that, especially Andy Legg, but I wouldn't really like to see a Jack in a Cardiff shirt

To be fair mate Ashley Williams would walk into our team.

Seriously?? Im not sure who's slower, Williams or Hudson? My personal opinion of Williams is that he is on par with Titus Bramble. Thats how low I rate him (Please dont tell me Bramble would walk into our side?)

Ashley Williams slow?

Do you actually watch football at all? :?

Iv seen milk turn quicker!!

You must buy shit milk then.

Williams is the best defender in the side that has kept the second highest number of clean sheets in the best league in the world.

Not good enough for Cardiff though

I wouldnt have known any of these "Facts" before you pointed them out to me but like I said, I wouldnt replace anyone apart from the players I have already mentioned. And before you patronise me, I do watch a lot of football, I have played at a pretty high standard myself and have done a lot of football coaching and not just up the local astroturf with a couple of local lads.

did i read today liverpool are interested in joe allen??? the kid does have some talent and has improved alot this yr but if liverpool have aspirations of champ league and prem titles they need to be aiming higher.. they have spent some serious cash this yr and the best signing has been a free!!

Is the Premier League really the 'best league in the world'? These pundits off MOTD and Sky keep going on about it, but I'm not sure how many agree with it!

Yes. he would not get in our side.

Not a better striker than Miller.

Not a better playmaker than Whittingham.

You seem to forget, despite going up, we've all seen these players up against us several times, promotion doesn't suddenly make them great players.

Maybe as a squad player, but there are plenty of others out there who could do the job better who would be cheaper.

You are incredibly one-eyed.

Of course you say Williams and caulker would get into our side despite never seeing Ben Turner play

IMHO Williams is an excellent centre half. Not so sure on Caulker, he was nothing special when I saw him for Bristol City and have only seen bits of him against you.

Turner however was rated the best centre half in the Championship (above Williams) last year before getting injured and having seen him play 7-8 times (against us as well as for us) I can see why.

Gower, for all the stats (those who rely purely on them are fools) has spent the majority of his career in the lower leagues and that is for a reason -he's limited. Same goes for Britton, looks good passing backwards to his back 4, but wasn't good enough to make any sort of impression at Sheff Utd. Central mid is your weakness. Quoting those pointless stats still doesn't make either a top player.

Also again we've seen them play and be outclassed by our own last season at the Liberty.

You DO have some fine players, (IMHO Rangel, Williams, Vorm, Taylor, Graham, Sinclair, Allen, all excellent, possibly Dyer who my Jack mates rate, but hasn't shown much when I've seen him, Rutledge too I'd have here tomorrow) but trying to make out the average ones are so good just makes you look blinkered. If they were so good you'd be a bit better than 5 points off the drop.

Curtis and Robbie James too.

Having played for Swansea should never be a reason for not signing someone.

Personally I would not have him, seen him do the swim away . When he was warming up for Blackpool in the play off final. Also he's got the word JACK tattood on his arm.
The main reason is if he cant even make the bench for SCFC (7 subs), he's not going to make the bench for us (5 subs).
