im really not impressed with this signing.... sorry guys!! if we play 442 our midfield will look out of sort.. we would need another winger... plus would he work with miller?? this would take time to develop ... time we dont have. as malky said he wants players to join who can hit the floor running.. i dont see diouf as this...

i also think that gunnarsson and kiss are too similar players and would rather see gunnarsson start with cowie playing in the centre infront of whitts and a new winger brought in for out right...

I was wrong with Drinkwater, I admit.

So if Malky rates this player, hmm you don't, well thats your opinion.
He has yet to agree.
But if he does lets wait and see before passing judgement.

Remember I said this, this player would divide our fans on their opinions.

where do you see him fitting in annis as we know that if a player comes from man utd, alex fergie expects them to be playing each and every week?

This is an exert from a conversation I had a couple of months ago with ny friend from Senegal:
25 October
Amadou Rasùl
a ok
there is a senegalese football player we will probaly play in championship
el hadj diouf do u know him?

25 October
Nigel James
Yes, he hasn't got a Club at the moment. Maybe Cardiff will sign him.

25 October
Amadou Rasùl
yeah i hope he's my favorite football player ever

25 October
Nigel James
Because he's from Senegal?
25 October
Amadou Rasùl
no because he is the best for me

25 October
Nigel James
He's a good player, not as good as Bellamy though.

26 October
Amadou Rasùl
bellamy pff dioufy can teach to him how to play
lol
26 October
Nigel James
Hahahaha

11 November
Nigel James
On 31 October 2011, Diouf signed for Doncaster Rovers on a three month contract
Not good enough for Cardiff haha but we're trying to get Mame Biram Diouf on loan from Man Utd.

11 November
Amadou Rasùl
diouf is best player in the championship mame biram is not good enough :o

I would just like to say look at demba ba last year. Now he is second top scorer in the premiership. Sometimes a change of scene can change a player. :ayatollah:

Re: " BREAKING NEWS "

Surely a wind up?

Seriously though, this guy is rubbish! Struggled playing for Blackburn and made look like a conference player by Palace!

Re: " BREAKING NEWS "

Tue Dec 27, 2011 9:31 pm

Annis, assuming Diouf IS the target, it seems like Malky had the 'heads up' from somewhere (possibly his Uncle Alex?? ) that he wouldn't be going to the African Nations Cup ;)

I'm sure there will be a debate over this signing BUT the simple question should be do we trust in Malky?? :?:

If (as in my case) the answer is a definite "Yes" then I will back ANY signing made during this Transfer Window ;)

MM likes him and his attitude must be good if MM wants him..
Your forgetting some players dont fit MMs profile so i dont know why your questioning Maram Biram Diouf you fools! :?
MM will bring the best out of him. MM can change players. Look at Naylor. Naylor was very arguemental with Hudson on the pitch and didnt get along with the defenders like Hudson and Quinn! :!: :ayatollah:

I would be happy to see Jerome with us Annis but Diouf ain't quite washing with me,I don't know an awful lot about him but the Man utd boys tell me he would be a good addition but I ain't seen enough to be sure.No No for me but if he comes in I hope he does a job and proves I knows nowt :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Re: " BREAKING NEWS "

tbh i think a waste of a signing :o hes not going to score us goals........ When at Blackburn didnt score much, he will not score for us...... Waste of wages, absolute waste

Re: " BREAKING NEWS "

Wed Dec 28, 2011 3:14 am

Watched him play against Leeds and Palace in the Carling Cup and he looked awful.

Re: " BREAKING NEWS "

Wed Dec 28, 2011 8:03 am

Topcat, Annis, Carl....is Diouf the only target?

I know I really don't have a good enough knowledge of the game...yet, in order to form my own opinion of this player, but if Annis says 9.5 out of ten that's good enough for me.

Re: " BREAKING NEWS "

Wed Dec 28, 2011 8:42 am

Lets be fair. The boy hasnt even kicked a ball for us yet and hes doomed. Ive seen him play once and that was against crystal palace and yes he was awful. But he probs plays 1 game every 3 months....I bet if hes involved week in week out he will be a different player altogether. We are saying hes shit but he was good enuff for the 1st team bench yesterday. :ayatollah:

Re: " BREAKING NEWS "

Wed Dec 28, 2011 8:55 am

How can people say he won't score for us? The lad was bought by Sir Alex after scoring a shed load for Molde,so he can't break into the Man Utd first team on a regular basis, but we can't judge him saying he won't do well for a side in the champsionship because of that surely??

I pray he comes and rediscovers some of that form he had at Molde......in MM I trust!

i have just spoke to two manure fans on this signing, both said the same, against palace and other games he has been played out left, and his out of position, he cannot play out there, same was said also of macheda when playing against palace,
so im going to say this,
im sure malky knows what he's getting and what he needs to do with him,

IN Malkey we trust :ayatollah:

Let lets wait and see, it's not really like Malky has bought any crap players (bar Earnshaw ) . I'm sure he'll do a Job for us , more so if this isn't the only singing but say 1 of 3

I've heard that.

We need more power up front. i feel if this guy comes he will be a swop for Miller.

Re: " BREAKING NEWS "

All I am saying is that I trust Malky. I do have concerns that it's taking so long for the player to agree to come to us but at the same time I am just glad we are looking to bring in extra bodies. Maybe he'll be a success, maybe he won't. He'll have my full support if he arrives though. :ayatollah:

Trust the gaffer. its all we can do.

Ive also heard from United fans slating the lad. But f**k it, if he's coming here
its cos Malky wants him. That'll do for me

Sir Alex said after Palace beat Man U - That alot of his players would go out on loan for the rest of the season.
If a player does not want to play for us we should move on...here are another 2 players who are highly thought of at Man U.
Maybe not strikers but it's about getting a few new faces in from midfield, out wide and up top ( IMO ).
