Most hostile ground......Birmingham 94???

Most hostile situation........meeting hundreds of Birmingham at Sheffield on the way back from Darlington on the train in the 90's. Terrifying. I thought I would die.

Without a doubt Birmingham away 83/84. Stabbings, a Cardiff fan getting a Machete ran down his neck and Back. Around 4/500 of us being pursued all the way back to the Station by thousands of Zulus, with a Police escort between us and a Massacre. Then to top it off when we eventually got to Birmingham New Street a special pulled up full of West Ham's Inter City Firm. :o
I could wright a book on that mad mad Day   . And i vowed to myself then i would never go back.......And i haven't :o But saying that i am thinking of going this season and putting my demons to rest.

the millwall game in 96 at new den was a night game.i remember the o.b cleared the streets for when the coaches left.still managed to miss a lone brick thrower but he wasn,t the best shot thankfully.im sure brum /cardiff is a sunday game this year nukes.i just go to the game and go home but from what i get told and see i don,t think birmingham are anything like we used to be.big show of zulus in brugge but i went to blackpool in november and remember looking round and noting the lack of old zulu.think they pick the odd game here and there to travel to

upton park, old den ,the lane, goodison, anfield , st andrews, elland road, north bank of the vetch(twice lol)stamford bridge, highbury clock end (twice lol). All nasty places, great days, a few bad beatings and a couple very close encounters with Stanley :o
Most Hostile at Ninian was Chelsea without a doubt, Biggest maddest mob i ever seen , we got battered from ninian park pub to train station. tudor road was like a tsunami rolling down the road with chelsea tooled up with bars planks and housebricks. remember a few of them were already wearing bandages on heads from earlier skirmishes. They were chanting "WAR, WAR, WAR".We made last stand by Doc grahams, tattoo shop, with only about 50 left mostly old B troop we got smashed. one of the brothers got stabbed in head. We were on are toes after that. Me and H are sure it was a London utd that day. We were destroyed.B troop fell apart shortly after this. :ayatollah: :old:

Birmingham 1980's St Andrews. Zulus chucking nails and drawing pins to stop police dogs and horses getting to them. The netting moving constantly during the game, afterwards the stewards and police picking up golf balls, cricket balls with razor blades embedded in them (same with apples and oranges) and snooker balls all trapped in the nets.

Funny story - in woolworths in brum, a gang of zulus chased a small mob of baggies through woolworths. The pic 'n' mix was flying everywhere :D :D :ayatollah:

St Andrews was a scary trip in the 80's they meant business!

The London grounds in the 70s. Chelsea, Tottenham, West Ham, and above all, Millwall were dangerous places. Used to go by train, and the underground was dodgy all the way. Never knew who was around the next corner. Never enjoyed those trips, too scary. There were actual killings from time to time. Glad that things have moved on.

Anfield for the Wales v Scotland game the Kop was absolutely mad that night and it's the biggest battering i've ever had it really was like Rorkes drift in there :D

Milwalls Cold Blow Lane was a very scarey place but i did it 3 times but the one game was on a Sunday when we won 4-1 i think and there was a double fence topped with barb wire with a line of Coppers between us and Millwalls finest who we were winding up by chanting we want 5 :D one of their specimens came right up to the fence making cut throat gestures then reached into his crombie and showed us the handle and blade of what looked like a machette suffice to say we moved from that fence a bit sharpish  Also been stoned on another visit and bricked at the Elephant and Castle very hostile place.

Also went to Loftus Road back when they had an artificial pitch and for a laugh :o decided to go in their end got sussed really quickly and had to beat an hasty exit out of there after a few slaps and boots up the arse but i then got chased under the stand and through the concourse and got saved by a Steward who took pity on me and let me through a gate too close for comfort :D

Honorable mentions to Fratton Park, Eastville and Ashton Gate :old:
