Is it that simple then? Boro took an early lead and got pegged back before going on to beat you.

You seem to be ignoring Boro's pen.

Which Looked offside before
And you then ignore kevs second pen

They didn't show any offside on tv so it's difficult to comment.

As for MacNaughtons "second pen", no way. They guy played the ball.

I was close to inline with it and looked off, it was either offside or a pen, never a corner.

You took my main ammo there Luke. I was waiting to use that.

What you are ignoring NJ or should I say trying to be annoying with, is the fact the first bad decision is the one that really shapes a game. That decision was a double whammy to us you cannot deny that. We could have been 1-0 instead found ourselves 1-0 down. Simple really.

Aye, and you were 2-1 up and still lost. My point being that while that decision would obviously have had a bearing on the game, it wouldn't necessarily have meant you would have gone on to win.

Besides, I think it's fair to say that you've had enough ropey penalty decisions go in your favour in the recent past.

And my point being we could have gone in 3-0 at HT.

Ropey penalty decisions? Perhaps we should organise a march to UEFA, oh the irony.

But you didn't. And just because you may have had a penalty that wasn't given doesn't mean you would have.

No doubt at some game in the future this season you'll get an early decision go for you. I wonder what the reaction to that would be.

Anyway, those lower league refs never were much good.

Yes these lower league refs.....well you may as well know about them now as you will need to next season.

Come on guys please dont try and claim kevs was a penalty in the 2nd half ffs :?

miller etc ran at the referee cos he originally gave a goal kick, then he changed his mind to a corner.

Just because the knobs on commentary dont know whats going on!!

and just to butt in to a few arguments previous....... we and boro both had stone wall pens turned down, if it was offside Luke it would have been given so. ( back to our old ways, i find myself agreeing with you to much recently)

We cant really say this would of happened that would of happened, because none of know.

But yes the ref was shite.

Well I actually said it was either offside or a pen ;)
Let's not argue

Re: Refereeing

Ref was just as bad for both teams.

We got beaten by the better team, cant blame the ref for that.

I certainly blame the ref for poor decisions but it's not why we lost.

Don't think they were a better team either, very equal game
