well i have no idea who she is i had to google her
she a radio 1 presenter she searches for new talent in the music industry
so i bet she knows the music industry better than most
but why should she have any knowledge of sport

I think that we are starting to get a little over sensitive regarding Gary Speed.

In this instance it appears that she had no idea who he was.When she found out it was sport related,she had a laugh at herself for realising why she never heard of him. Thats my interpetation anyway and to read more into it than that is quite sad.

well it wouldnt be in that case but the difference is
people would wonder who gery speed was and why are the press making so much fuss over this guy
with regards to a dead seviceman
he or she will get a 30 second slot somewhere in the news and no one would care

She used the term "lolz". To me, anyone who uses that term, let alone someone in such a high profile position is a joke. With any high profile death there will always be those who don't react in an appropriate way. I don't think she needs to get sacked or anything.
