What about you pay a increased price but you get a refund based on how many games you have attended at the end of the season :ayatollah:

In this day and age why isnt there any opt-out option available to Season Ticket Holders. For Instance, in nearly all instanses people will know a couple of days in advance that they will not be able to attend the game.

There should be a online-portal for Season Ticket Holders to log in and inform the club they will not be attending the game, instantly allowing the club to sell the seat? This could also be done by telephone... Its actually quiet a simple system to put in as everything would be systematically updated.

The only issue here is the season ticket holders actually taking 5 minutes to log on or phone the hotline???

You miss the point. It's about (a) the EMPTY seats that could go to other families that are currently refused entry to that particular section, and (b) the 'coveting' of seats 'just in case' we get to play the so-called 'big boys' some time soon

In my world it's called 'hedging your bets" and it shouldn't be allowed to be so blatant

NO issues at all with those who actually bring their kids at a reduced price; for they are the full-paying fans of the future!!

nothing to do with hedging the bets on the big matches and frankly i find that offencive, my daughter has been an ambassador since before the new stadium and at the age of 11 has been a season ticket holder for 6 years, her seat is there so she can spend saturdays with her dad and also with other youngsters who are doing the same, should she chose, sickness, school nights, and pure bad weather are just some reasons why she dont attend on some occassions, add to that new friends in the big school, after school clubs and it becomes clear my little girl has more going on that cardiff city mores the pity i would love her beside me, enjoying what i do and what i see other children doing, unfortunatly i think im losing out to her age.
And yes i pay for her seat, and if i gave it up with the thought that she wouldnt go again, who would buy it ?? 1 seat on its own on the end of an isle??

This debate is fuelled by people who want to return to the NP arrangement of surrounding the away fans with our 'lads'. People really need to get over this because it is not going to happen. Those who complain about the atmosphere need to look at themselves first – make an effort to generate the atmosphere, don't worry about anyone else, you can sit and sing and there is nothing anyone can or will want to do to stop you!

If the tales of families being refused entry because the Grange is full are true the solution is straight forward. If there are spaces in the Canton (the corners always have lots of spare seats) or the Ninian the club could offer standard adult prices for the area and cheap child ticket in line with the price in the family stand - simple.
