i think a lot of people are getting the wrong end of the stick, the problems with the free seats going un used ,to compare empty seats in the corners of the canton end is stupid ,as there are no free seats anywhere else in the ground, my sugestion would be free seats that are not going to be used should be made avaliable back to the club on a game to game basis, so they can be re sold on a game to game basis ,free st holders who dont let the club know of there non use should lose them, :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

For the Carling Cup Semi-Final 2nd leg

£18 for Adults and " £5 " for Under 16's  :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Every league game, you look at it and it always has hundreds and sometimes thousands of empty seats, yet sold out . :o

For the Semi-Final of the Cup, surely it will be full at these prices. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

if it's the second leg then maybe, i still think it should be a score (£20) for man and boy.

How many kids are you taking to the game ?? :o :ayatollah:

Who is the question to as I dont use the family stand ?

The question was to Johnny Rythmn, because if he is taking kids to the game it will cost a lot more by doing that :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

and im telling you it will still be 22k

EXACTLY!!........ Bring in a "use it or loose it!!" terms of conditions on free childs tickets next year!

I genuinly think it would be a bad idea to take away the free ticket incentive altogether after all the clubs hard work regarding family club awards

Them free tickets could then be sold on to familys trying to get a seats in the family stand but cant when its 30-40% empty weekly..............AND therefore then creating more revenue for the club at the same time :ayatollah:

Stand should end up full, free ticket abusers whittled down, club creates more money.

i thought that to be in family stand you had to be accompanied by a child.Yet a guy sits next to me on his own no kid and no empty seat so how did he qualify

Am an st in family stand with my 15 year old son and havE been for last couple of seasons. We were in tenerife on hols for the 2 august games bristol city & brighton-we missed the the leicester game as i was away up in surrey on a works conference and we missed the southampton game due to family illness,Have been to all other home games & one carling cup -but this puts us at attending less than the 70pc of games some people are talking about wherby some sort of penalty needs to be made. We travel a round trip of about 75 miles to support the team we love ...its only a short trip for us to the puberty but would never dream of going there,i have posted on other threads that the club really needs to sort out a buy back scheme for those sts like myself who for one reason or another are genuinly unable to attend certain games ,this would have a twofold benefit in that would increase ACTUAL ATTENDANCE & would increase revenue for the club ,as they could charge full price for our seats and i would be more than happy to recieve at least something. As regard to the under 9`s i think the club has a serious problem here, as from experience think most of the empty seats are attributable to this group-i agree with other posters that a change in criteria/non attendance penalty would be appropiate

In the short- term, i.e. for the rest of this season, I think a simple 'non-attendance' scheme for the whole ground whereby the ST holder either phones or goes online and informs the club, without fear of reprisals, that their ticket is not going to be used is worth a try and could be implemented immediately. Even if this wasn't taken up by everybody, it would surely free up some seats.....

i have a season ticket and we go to every home game where possible, missing a few of the midweek games in school terms (as my kids are 8 and 10). We live in Chepstow so its a nightmare getting out of the car park (as alas I would never leave before the end of the game) and the subsequent drive.

As such I understand how parents of younger kids don't take their kids to a midweek game (as god knows what time we got home after the Leicester games extra time and penalties)....

Surely if a rule was enforced no adult is allowed entry without their child then fans would have to adhere to the rules, and either move seats or bring their kids
