The football on offer is not going to intice them back.
A couple of pals come yesterday who are not STs and paid 29 quid to watch that shit and I dont expect to see them next home game.
Thanks to Peter Whitts we are papering over the cracks. If he gets injured we are fucked.
Craig Conway is utter horse shit. How Taffy Apple woman can claim hes the best winger in this division I dont know. Must be drinking too much Buckfast up in Jockland.

Polo , I presume your role on this board is to genreate a reply - ( least I hope so.
------ I take it you are unaware that pretty football gets you not very far in the Championship, Blackpool away earlier on in the season springs to mind.
When you play three games in week with the brand of Football we undertake, it is on occasions. Not be that pretty on the eye. Lots of Great great teams become great by being solid and not that easy on the eye. Man United, Arsenal and many great Italian teams all started off being defensive.
I would prefer to win 1 nil that lose 5 four

Hmm
And an average of about 2,500 are missing every game.
That's quite a few City fans missing Annis, could it be work commitments and the Xmas period coming up maybe?
I did think of both of them, just shame the family stand never looks full, but sold out every game.
its a lot fuller than the rest of he ground.

I wondered where you was I seen your brother in the Ninian yesterday

i thought the reason the family stand was empty was because you can buy a cheaper adult ticket this end than anywhere else and you just have to lie and say you have it with a kid. even with kids prices its still cheaper.
Sun Nov 27, 2011 1:17 pm
i work for the club before the games and im already in the ground at 3pm, so even though im in my season ticket seat its never technically scanned in the turnstile,
Sun Nov 27, 2011 1:22 pm
The seat next to me in the family stand is always empty. This is because the guy 2 seats over comes on his own and has never brought a child with him. He must have registered an U9 child for that seat so he can sit in this section.
Should I make the club aware, as we are losing out on potential revenue?
There are many people doing this.

I don't understand why people who can't go don't pass there cards on.
My brother couldn't go so my dad came instead yesterday.
Sun Nov 27, 2011 2:11 pm
I agree with most of that, except I think there was about 800 Forest.

Luke, I always do, if I cant make it.

does anyone think that people may have bought STs in the cheap 5 year deal in the hope of watching prem football in rthe next few years and not really bothered about city just waiting to watch prem football
Sun Nov 27, 2011 6:55 pm
Why not have a section of unreserved seats, and let adults buying 2 tickets outside the family stand by kids tickets for a £5
Sun Nov 27, 2011 7:01 pm
i was away for the weekend but my ST was used

I was 1 of them,family comes 1st
You miss the point I think:
Annis clearly states that 2,500 are CONSISTENTLY missing and yesterday it was 4,000
There simply HAS to be a reason for this number and it cannot be that they are missing the odd game like your good self (who I am sure attends the vast majority of home games)
Did these people simply take a gamble that they would be watching the top 6 Premiership teams at the CCS this season??
I think it's a fair question and it might be summed up by the so-called Bluebird 'fan' on 606 tonight who said: "I'm a Cardiff City supporter but I was at the Swansea game today...." (Sort of hints at divided loyalties now THEY are in the Prem)
Couldn't do it myself. I'm a Cardiff City fan first, last and foremost. The thought of going to The New Vetch to watch a game that didn't involve my club (or country for those inclined that way) is abhorrent!!
It's just a thought, but I can't think of many other (genuine) reasons why so many would miss so much!!

There should be no entry to that section unless both the adult and child are present. Folk are taking the piss out of the cheaper prices and are doing folk who want to take their kids there out of a seat.[/quote]
As a ST holder in the family stand I can confirm that several adults regularly turn up without kids and have 2 or 3 empty seats around them.
My boy would have to be seriously ill or seriously grounded to miss a home match
Sun Nov 27, 2011 9:31 pm
i couldnt make the game as have recently started a new job and he asked me to do some overtime and help him with an induistrial job so i thought id show him im willing to make sacrifices for him so when i need time off or a favour off him it shows me in a good light if i have done favours for him. i gave my ticket to my bro. as much as im enjoying the football we are playing and the passion from malky but im not as bothered if i miss a game as i was last season i just dont enjoy it as much anymore and not sure why.
Sun Nov 27, 2011 9:54 pm
People pay their money for their sts they can do what they like.
Ive missed a couple and try and give my ticket to sum1 if i cant make it. If i cant pass it on im not bothered. my perogative.
Its not like we are selling out games and need the extra seats.

PtB wrote:If adults are continually using an st for the family stand and not taking their kids then the club should block their card. Surely it is part of the terms and conditions?
..........Or take the "free" tickets for under 9's back which dont get used!...........i honestly beleive people just take advantage of the fact its free with the "I may as well have one just incase my boy ever fancys coming" view!!
Which inturn takes away revenue from the club and other fans chance of a season ticket!!

I have heard that, quite a few Adults never have children with them.

im in the family stand with my boy, loads of empty seats each week, loads of single men on their own, come night games even worse with no kids around me apart from my boy
Mon Nov 28, 2011 3:49 pm
Had a family wedding, first game I've missed home or away in 2 seasons

I mean how rude and inconciderate getting married during football season time

Why dont we get a small booth set up near the main gate (3) call it the ticket exchange- Anyone with a spare ticket or ST card can sell it on for a fiver or tennr to people who walk up--youd have to give over your car keys or a 50 quid deposit which is returned when you give back the season ticket to the owner .
