All it takes is a quiet word in an ear to either him or his father (who was there) no need to attack the bloke.
Now, if this wurzel had started to become physical its a bit different, but you're supposed to be grown men, why does a little kid gobbing off about a football club wind you up into fits of violence?

Its LIFE feller. All over the world. Go into certain pubs/areas and give it the big
one and some people will take the hump.
Would you walk up into a Brazilian favella and tell them all that they stink and
shag farmyard animals?
If someone walked into my local and started performing, I'd have a quiet word
and tell him to wind his neck in. Not everyone is like that. On a bad night he'd
get punched back out the door

I was walking alongside this small group of Bristol City fans about 5-8 yards away from the away exit to where the attack took place by the railings, along with my 14 year old daughter and two other 15 year olds. At no point did I hear the Bristol fans utter anything, never mind try to wind up City fans. That is just a lie promulgated by idiots trying to justify this action which was cowardice in the extreme. The culprit was so brave he even threw the punch from slightly behind and to the side of the victim so he didn't even see it coming.
Don't distort the facts to make this incident look like a couple of like minded guys having a go at each other. The Bristol kid was not looking for trouble and therefore he should not have been subjected to it.
As City fans we know only too well what a stray punch can do, let's not try and condone this.

So he got pushed or missed with a punch. A kick up the arse should have sufficed, not f*cking hanging him. To compare this petty incident to the tragedy at Wembley is a f*cking insult

i take my son to football and if he got attacked id be very happy that rival fans helped us out. then id find out the twats address through the courts and media and drive to where ever he/they lived and make their lives hell
Would you let your 23 year old son shout all kinds of abuse at rival supporters outside what is viewed as a derby match?
