There is a Leonardo de Vinci exhibition in London at this time, and she has let them have 4 drawings she has in her own collection, just think how much one of these would be worth , absolute Millions !, and she has 4 of them that we know of in her own private collection.

I know this is nothing to do with City or football , but come on ! alot of us cant even afford to take our kids out for a day in the summer and put them on a few show at a leisure park, and this cow and her family only pay a fraction of the tax they should , shit now they are over 70 I bet they even get a free TV license.

The Royal Family aren't everyone's cup of tea (I'm a fan of Kate Middleton!) but they bring in far more than they take out. The money they generate from tourists etc far outweighs the money given to them in the civil list. The vast majority work for a living and do far more than your average person.

The only guy with some sense in this topic. 62p per year she costs every taxpayer of this country and brings in far more and believe me we need as much help as possible to increase the income of this country. Typical nationalist stance, when times are hard then they will shout the loudest for independance yet when times are good they keep their mouth firmly shut.

Not sure where you get these figures from, but last year it cost £75million to "look after" the queen, there are only 26million tax payers in the country......im pretty sure that doesn't equate to 62p each

How about the massive amount of money earned through the marriage of Prince William and Kate Middleton?

What about the yanks and japanese etc who flock to Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle etc. They bring revenue in through airport taxes, hotel rooms, food, drink, souvenirs, city tours.

Personally i would say that for every £1 we spend on the royals £2 is brought back.

If the monarchy ceased to exist now it probably wouldn't have a major impact on tourism thanks to the history of our country. This is one of those arguments that could go on and on. We are all entitled to an opinion. I'll agree to disagree with you on this one.....

The vast majority of sealing a business deal is to impress the people you want to do business with and the Foreign business people love the Royal family FACT There is no doubt that they influance has helped British business and British Jobs
