how many bows did you have? what Hudson were you watching? cut him some slack??? he is a liability fella, he is shit

None today mate, Thanks for asking  Why do you have a personal vendetta aginst him mate ? I tell you was shit today that was Mcphail.

I don't have a personal vendetta against anyone mate, I just say it as it is, he is a liability to Cardiff City, the team I have supported for 43 years, he is shit and always has been, its nothing personal but you are entitled to your opinion as am I

After 43 years you should know better then.

Hudson should have doen better for the goal for sure. But overall we were 2nd best and he had an awful lot to do. Try looking at the midifled as they were completely over-run today despite playing 4-5-1.

Some of our fans are an embarrassment. 'He is shit and always has been' - what a load of bollox. A guy made captain by Malky, Jones, Taylor, Curbishly, Dowie,, Warnock, Coppell .... FFS

You might be 'entitled to your opinion', but if its to slag off our players i'd rather you stuck it where the sun don't shine. :ayatollah:

43 years wasn't actually a referral to say I should know about anything, I merely said it to show my commitment at supporting the team, we all want the team to succeed whoever plays for us but I share the opinion with some people on here that Hudson is a liability, normally I don't actually slag any player off that plays for Cardiff City but if I feel, (and again its my opinion), that a player is shit then I will say, I'm sure you haven't had a moan about any player that's played for us have you???

I thought today showed that he isnt what we need in the back four, slow for 1. Im not going to write a paragraph about it but more than anybody on the pitch he puts his body on the line. An blocked several shots which were goal bound.

If everybody else can see it im sure Malky can. and i agree with lawnmower that he wasn't the worst player on the pitch today.

Of course, but never called them SHIT. Especially when they really aren't shit.
Try reading the rest of the post. Those guys are all idiots aren't they ? :?
Please explain why you have left McNaughton, Taylor, Whittinghsam, McPhail, Conway etc.. out even though they were all completely anonymous and 2nd best to their opponents ?

Maybe one or two. Don't think anybody had a brilliant game, with the exception of Marshall.

I'm pretty sure you haven't called any of our players shit but nevermind you are only human.
Of course I will explain why I have left those players you mention out, it's quite simple really, they are good players and make the odd mistake but mostly play very well, Hudson on the other hand is consistent, the only thing he is consistent at, he is not very good and slow and gives far too many free kicks away because he is slow, we have conceded more goals when Hudson has been playing, FACT. By the way I give credit to Hudson when he deserves it but unfortunately that's not very often I'm afraid.
I think we should agree to disagree on this one as I will never change my mind on what I believe.

Your 1st sentence doesn't make sense.

Thing is, the others WERE poor today, far worse than Hudson who did more good than bad -although I thought he was poor by his standards today.

Oh yes hes slow, but so too are the rest of our centre halfs- centre halfs normally are. as for free kicks he gives away FAR less than Gerrard.

As for your 'fact' abut goals conceded, then lets see it -and not over 3 or 5 games but 20+ ?

My guess is you don't actually see a lot of the games and/or don't know much about centre half play.

My first sentence was a sarcastic one, read it again.

I agree with you on others being poor today too but don't agree on Hudson doing more good than bad, he was doing his normal thing - bad.

Blake isn't slow, and you need to check the stats again and you will see that Hudson in fact gives more free kicks away and we concede more when he is playing. I can't be bothered showing you, look it up yourself.

I suggest you better guess again on that one mate, I'm a season ticket holder that's been to every home game this season and last and only missed a hand full of away games, I would have been at Leeds today but for the robbing bastards charging £36 for a ticket. I'm struggling to understand that comment actually where you guess I actually don't see many games

Check what stats. Show me - look it up, where,. The truth is these stats don't exist, no stats on free kicks conceded per minute anywhere. What I can tell you is Gerrard couldn't play as he's suspended for 5 bookings, i.e. he fouls a lot. Don't quote stuff you can't back up.

If you think Blake is the answer then you clearly had your eyes shut when we played Leicester, if Hudson had done what Blake did he would most likely have been hung by now. As for pace, no Blake isn't quick, he's not even fit as he doesn't look after himself.

So, if you DO go to all the games then you maybe have no idea about playing centre half if you think Hudson is shit and the likes of Mackay, Jones, Warnock, Coppel, Dowie, Curbishly, Taylor etc.. have selected him 300 times . What do they know eh ?

Lawnmower is right, there is a reason why so many well established managers not only pick him in their first 11, but make him captain. We are all guilty of being the best football managers the world has seen at times, but when we take a step back, we know f**k all really.

How the f**k do you work that one out :? Marshall was man of the match fella and as for Hudson not doing anything wrong today  you should have said "what did he do right" Admit it, Hudson is a donkey, end of :D

You are 100% right, i mean, what the f**k does Malky know about being a centre half....oh wait, he was one.......what does DJ know about being a centre half.....oh wait, he was one to.......what do the ex-pro's in Don Goodman know about championship football.......oh wait he played in it for 15 years........ok ok what does kevin phillips know about football, ahhhhh dam it.....im sure ill find someone who has a credible knowledge of the game that would slate Hudson's performance today (apart from all the above who said he was fantastic today) as for the goal, the ball was 3 yrds in front of Marshall, and he didnt come for it....he shit out, before you say it, i agree he was MOM as he made some awesome saves today, but you lot would blame bird flu on hudson if you could....its f*cking pathetic!

Oh dear, here we go  Malky wasn't playing as wasn't DJ, Don Goodman or Kevin Phillips but Hudson was, I stick by what I say as do most people above this do, Hudson is a LIABILITY, of course that is my opinion and I know fuckall really
as for the goal, it was Hudson's to deal with 100%, when the ball was delivered Hudson was in front of Snodgrass, how the f**k did he get in front of Hudson to score, I suggest you have a look at it again. I'm not going to argue with you about this anymore, its my opinion and I will respect yours.

well said :ayatollah: :ayatollah: hudson is shit, get rid of him!!!!!!!!

Re: Hudson is a liability

When ever we concede a goal it always seems Hudson is to blame and although i thought he was 50% to blame today i also thought Marshall who was otherwise outstanding was also 50% to blame. However people seem to forget the numerous balls he cleared and two goal bound shots he blocked today because otherwise we could have been looking at losing all 3 points instead of a valuable point gained :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Hudson is a decent Centre Half but some fans just want to blame him everytime we concede btw what cost us today was the free kick awarded because of the 'foul' by Gunnarson when in fact he slipped and the Leeds player fell over him it was that free kick that led to the Leeds goal

Ste_W wrote:The goal was the fault of both Hudson and Marshall.

Ideally, Marshall would give a good clear shout, and come out for the ball while Hudson protects him from the attacker coming in.

In reality, it didn't look like Marshall called for it or wanted to come for it (even though I think it was his ball to take), Hudson assumed he'd be coming for it so left it, but did nothing about the attacker.
Hudson can't decide that the keeper should come for the ball. If he doesn't get a shout he has to deal with it.

Therein lies the problem, Marshall does not communicate clearly enough with his back 4 which is the main weakness in his game. The goal was his fault as he should be taking everyone out to get to a ball in the 6 yard box
