THIS MORNING I WROTE

Along with probably most City fans, I recognize we need to bring in more players to the squad........Yes most city fans recognize

the need for quality signings to be made,but i'm not sure Malky does,i hope i'm wrong

Malky has identified players but due to cup competitions it has hindered the process, the club tried on Friday to bring a player in but failed to do so, but Malky is certainly trying.

I am told he will not bring in players to make up numbers, he wants the right players and will wait to get his targets.

we heared that it was a Man Utd reserve striker who just didnt fancy joining Cardiff on loan ..... unless ofcourse its down to the wages again ??

Martyn it was Diouf of Man Utd, the deal was done between the clubs but the player turned it down because he did not want to step down to the Championship but this was a month ago and that is why is name is linked with us in the press over the last couple of days.

Don't forget also we went for Kightly from Wolves but because Wolves only wanted to loan him for a month Malky declined the move.
